Bedford County is home to four high schools: Shelbyville Central, Community High, Webb-Bell Buckle, Cascade High. In anticipation of the upcoming season these are the best juniors in the county.

Cascade competed against Bolton, Nolensville, and others in June. The team looks to be thin on post players. Starting point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2621671' first='Henry' last='Stone'] is going to dominate the basketball for the first few seconds of each possession. Decent first-step quickness. Handle is better than average.

Last season [player_tooltip player_id='2622577' first='Josh' last='Powers'] was a rotation player for Community High. He looks to be a small forward at the 2A level throughout his high school career. His feet were a tad slow in 2023-2024. Powers was trying to defend Summertown's Greyson Burleson or [player_tooltip player_id='2622565' first='Kurt' last='Burleson'] in the playoffs and struggled a lot. With a half year of physical maturity since then it will be fun to see how prepared he is for the post wars of 2024-2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='2042762' first='Tae'Shawn' last='Shelton'] is a future college hooper. His level is tough to determine at this point, but the athleticism is freakish. Elite bounce. Great timing as a rim protector. Nice height for a college forward, especially if he can play wing at that level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194624' first='Eli' last='Brown'] (Webb-Bell Buckle) is the best junior in Bedford County now and probably will remain the best throughout high school into college. Shelton's remarkable bounce and height suggest he could surpass Brown's ceiling, but there is no denying Eli's guile and creativeness in the halfcourt. Brown makes a lot of little, yet important decisions swiftly. He keeps defenders and defenses guessing, 'Will he shoot this? Is he looking to pass?'
