The Expo Team 3 Evals

The Prep Hoops Missouri Expo was held last Sunday at Chaminade College Prep. Here is a look at the members of Team 3 at the event. Those players not listed were featured with the All-Showcase Team on Sunday.    The athletic 6'6" 2025 forward was one of the top shot blockers at the event. He was getting swats against anyone who would challenge him on a drive into the lane. He also ventured outside to block a few perimeter jumpers. He displayed an explosive quick jump where he was high-pointing rebounds above the rim. He was also throwing down dunks in the paint. He is primed for a big senior season with the Lions, who won a district championship last season.     A 6'4" 2027 shooting guard who is long and rangy and he moved in a very smooth and fluid manner. He was able to get where he wanted to go on the dribble, but he was not rushed. He moved at his own pace. He is setting up his defenders well before taking them off the bounce. He also has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range.     A 6'3" 2027 guard who is a unique player who causes matchup problems. He has a big, strong frame which served him well in the low post when he wanted to work inside for buckets. His footwork was good and he made good use of head and shoulder fakes in the paint. He did not mind the physical play. He is also a very skilled ball handler who could facilitate like a point guard. He could get into the lane and operated well off of two feet. He was also hitting the free throw line jumper.     A 6'1" 2027 guard who has a powerful build and who uses it to get to the basket on physical drives in the lane. He has done a good job of making the transition from a middle school post player to a high school guard. He is a solid ball handler who can muscle his way into the lane for layups and pull up jumpers. He was also very solid on the defensive end. He also picked up a few offensive boards for putbacks.     A 6'5' 2025 forward from Jefferson County who is a solid young player who played well off of his teammates with his movement. He got to the spots and hit 15 to 17 foot jumpers. He scored on a nice baseline drive in traffic. He could also drive the ball effectively and he scored on a nice runner in the lane.. He also did a solid job rebounding the ball. He appears to have grown a few inches, which should make him even more effective this season.     A 6'2" 2025 guard from the Illinois side who is a high energy player with a strong motor, which was running strong on Sunday. He was crashing the boards and hustling for loose balls with great activity. He was a picture of constant movement. He also scored on some strong takes in the transition game, plus he was knocking down Corner 3-pointers.     A 6'1" 2025 combo guard who is an effective slasher with a quick first step to get himself into the lane. The southpaw is a capable scoring around the basket on his drives. He was also shooting the ball well off the catch from the perimeter. He made some impact plays on defense with his ability to dart into the passing lanes for steals.     A 6'0" 2026 guard with good physical strength, which he used to make a living in the paint. The young guard was good on the straight line drive and he was also very shifty with the ball to keep defenders off balance. He could also hit the step-back jumper as well. He also had a very nice runner in the lane.
