His physicality and athleticism make him a really difficult matchup.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2243086' first='Michael' last='Joyce'] (Bishop Garrigan): 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Joyce was really good as a freshman for the Golden Bears, leading the team in scoring while showcasing his ability to score from all three levels. He has great size and length on the wing, thrives playing downhill and attacking the bucket, and he continues to improve as a playmaker for his teammates.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2754716' first='Brody' last='Heifner'] (Belmond-Klemme): 15.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Broncos won just two games last season, but Heifner was solid, leading the team in scoring and rebounding, while ranking second in assists. He does a nice job attacking the rim and putting pressure on his defender. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1641849' first='Jackson' last='Gaul'] (Lake Mills): 11.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 8.1 assists, 1.6 steals, 55.6 FG%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's no mistake that Lake Mills' offensive attack absolutely took off once Gaul became eligible following his transfer from Crestwood. He's one of the best pure point guards in small school basketball, a guard with great handles and vision, and he does a great job protecting the basketball, posting a 4.42 assist-to-turnover ratio as a junior.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1781875' first='Carter' last='Schwab'] (Bishop Garrigan): 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.3 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schwab is a nice complement to Joyce for the Golden Bears, a physical wing with a strong frame that he uses to power through contact.
