Even though he is a perimeter player he did not shy away from playing inside when he needed to. He has a good looking outside jumper as well and he can step out and shoot from range. Even when he he was not shooting he was making the right plays out in the perimetr. He was getting to the rim when he needed to and he was also shooting when he he was open. A player that does not take unnecessary contested jumpers. Has movement and cuts to the rim were nice. He face cuts a lot and when he exits he creates space for other players. Impressive showing this past weekend as Fosita is just moving very fluidly and shooting the ball better than we have seen him do it before. Which is great because that will open up driving lanes as well. Stokes has a strong right drive and when he goes left he can always go to a spin move if he needs to. Great all-around IQ was on display as well. Stokes showed that he can play. He has length as a young player and he also moves wella nd defends. He was playing against some older guards but he held his own and he was scoring from the outside and getting rebounds among some of the stronger players in the gym.
