Here at Prep Hoops Indiana we pride ourselves on covering the ENTIRE state and being in the gym as much as possible. Sometimes that means you have to get in the car and cover some distance. Each fall I make it a point to go down and cover a Sunday at the [program_tooltip program_id='2076930' first='Pocket' last='City Basketball'] Fall League. This outstanding event brings many of the best players in the greater Evansville area together under one roof at Gibson Southern High School on four Sundays in the month of October. This Sunday, October 13th, I made my annual trip to take in the action. Here are some of the top individual performers from week two at the Pocket City Fall League.

He was as good as anyone in the gym on Sunday at the Pocket City Fall League. The 6'4” junior at Evansville North High School will be the Huskies top returning scorer after putting up 10.0 ppg as a sophomore. Chapman displayed his versatility throughout his two games scoring it from all over the floor. He is an athletic finisher, comfortable enough handling it to create his own shot, and can knock down catch-and-shoot 3's. He scored 19 and 28 points in his two games on Sunday.

One of the few Evansville Memorial basketball players that isn't busy with football, Evans had his shot-making ability on full display at the Pocket City Fall League on Sunday. He is able to run off of screening action directly into his shot which isn't something a lot of high school players can pull off. He scored 16 and 19 points in his two games knocking in several outside shots in the process.

Holmes was the most talented prospect in the gym on Sunday at the Pocket City Fall League. The 6'6” wing has such a versatile skill set for his size. He can handle the ball out on the perimeter, is an excellent passer, and can punish smaller defenders in the paint. Holmes, a junior at Princeton Community High School, knocked in a couple of outside shots on the day as well. Holmes finished with 26 points to lead all scorers on the day in his second game. Expect to see him have a great junior season.

There is a lot to like about the physical tools that Naab possesses. At 6'4” with a strong build, the Evansville Christian prospect has guard-like skill. He can stretch the floor as a shooter, as proven by making seven three-point shots on his way to 23 points in his second game of the day, while also punishing smaller defenders in the paint. He had an excellent day scoring the basketball finishing with 18 points in game one before his 23-point performance in game two.

There might not have been a more purely athletic prospect in the gym than this 6'3”-6'4” senior wing from Castle High School. Niehaus had the highlight of the day late in the second game with a poster-worthy dunk over a defender. He then followed it up with a very impressive blocked shot on the other end and a coast-to-coast drive. However, it wasn't just those highlights that earned Niehaus top performer status. He finished with 19 points in game two of the day showcasing his two-way versatility.

You could make a pretty convincing argument that nobody shot it better at the Pocket City Fall League than this Evansville Central High School senior. He had some really impressive stretches in both of his games on Sunday all centered around his perimeter shot making. Richason made five three-point shots in his first game and then made three across a period of four total possessions in his second game.

Robb burst onto the scene for us here at Prep Hoops Indiana with his play last fall at the Pocket City Fall League. He then backed it up with strong play at a few Prep Hoops events since then. On Sunday, he was right back at it down at the Pocket City Fall League showcasing his dynamic playmaking ability. He is very athletic with clear quick-twitch traits. Robb put up 23 points in his second contest of the day after scoring 14 in his prior contest. He can flat out score the basketball.

After putting up 20 points in his first game of the day, Wongler turned around and scored 25 points in game two. After a consistently productive summer, Wongler is looking to continue his strong play into his senior season at Castle High School. The tough, smaller guard is a creative finisher against size at the end of his drives and shoots it at a high percentage from beyond the arc. He is a guy you can trust to make the right decisions with the ball in his hands.
