He is a lefty with multi-dimensional scoring capabilities. He has a great feel for the game and boasts a tremendous ability to create off-the-bounce for himself and his teammates. When it comes down to it, Zamarion was one of, if not the best overall scorers at the camp. His athleticism was also seen on the defensive end of the floor, as he had several chase-down blocks during the day. He is poised to have a really good junior season and I will be keeping my eyes on him.

Landyn Joshua Smith (6'0/G|F/2028/Thompson HS)

IG: landynbigchop4us

There was a lot of noise surrounding Landyn as we entered the showcase, as I had several people call to tell me to keep my eyes on him. I have seen him compete in the past, but it was good to see him in action again. I will say that what impressed me the most had nothing to do with his play on the court. The kid showed the best leadership skills I have seen in a long time. He was vocal, coaching up his teammates on the sideline, and engaged from start to finish. Before camp even started, he came up and introduced himself with eye contact and a firm handshake. Now on the court, he is a hard-nosed, gritty, two-way talent who impacts the game with his ability to orchestrate and score. He kept the offense fluid and opposing ball-handlers frustrated. His stock increased significantly.

Zane Young (6'0/PG/2025/Homeschooled)

IG: youngzane11

Zane is a small guard who competed but showed a need to be more aggressive. His scoring contribution wasn't extremely high, but he asserted himself and contributed to winning by making hustle plays at times. He is like a conduit and helps to keep the ball moving, never being the player which causes it to stick.

[player_tooltip player_id='2472293' first='Brady' last='McNally'] (6'0/CG/'27/Opelika)

IG: b.mcnally5

X: @bymy54

Brady had it going on the offensive end of the floor with his scoring versatility. He scored from all levels and was really good at getting to the cup in transition. He is young but he showed his understanding of the game. He was one of very few players who passed and moved. I know that sounds simple, but it is a reason coaches talk about player movement and ball movement. Brady did a good job balancing scoring and facilitating and proved to be a young, emerging prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610199' first='EJ' last='King'] (6'1/CG/'25/Russellville)

IG: king_earl14

X: @ejking_14

EJ's game was clearly seen when he was free to operate in space and attack off the bounce. He is a slasher who does a really good job at finishing when he gets into the paint and at the cup. He does a good job improvising when his ability to get to the paint with his quickness doesn't suffice. It was in those moments when he was able to create off the bounce and make reads, finding open teammates. He has a mature floor game and played like a senior getting ready for his last go at it on the high school level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610198' first='Conner' last='Powers'] (5'8/PG/'27/OPP)

IG: powers_conner

X: @connerpowers33

Connor is a small lead guard who is extremely difficult to keep out of the paint. He had a determination of getting to the paint and he was adamant and intentional with his drives. As good as he was at getting to the cup, he did show his ability to stop and pop in his middle game. He is twitchy with intriguing tools and has a budding PG IQ. He may be small, but he is not a pushover on the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610209' first='Jaxson' last='Penery'] (6'3/Wing/' 26/Pike Road)

IG: jaxson_penery

X: @jaxson_penery

Jaxson shot the ball exceptionally well from behind the arc, and it was where he stood out the most. He made plays off the bounce and was really good at knifing through the defenses. He has positional size, plays the game at his own unique pace, and keeps defenders guessing when he is attacking off the bounce with his crafty ability to change directions. He was consistent throughout the day and had an overall solid performance.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610188' first='Caden' last='Steiner'] (6'3/CG/'26/Jasper)

IG: csteiner_24

X: @cadensteiner1

Let me start by saying that Caden was the best shooter from behind the arc at camp. Others might be really good, but nobody shot it as well as he did during the showcase. I saw him make 7 or 8 in one game he played, not to mention how he lit it up in the other games. He is coming off a surgery and looks ready to have a really good junior year. He has a smooth shot, which is the foundation of his well-rounded scoring package. His stock is rising, and I will keep my eyes on him.
