Class of 2027 Watchlist: 1A

A few of these young players are just scratching the surface of what they can accomplish. They exceeded expectations last year and are ready to become some of the best players in the state. He was one of the highest-scoring freshmen in the state last year. He's a great perimeter shooter, capable of shooting off the catch or dribble. He plays with great pace and consistently has control of the game. Last year, he was one of the leading scorers among Kansas freshmen. He has a slick handle and is great at scoring off ball screens. In isolation, Henderson creates space and knocks down quick step-back jumpers. He's an efficient mid-range shooter when he steps inside the line and makes the most of his free-throw opportunities. He's great at recognizing when he's open and is comfortable waiting a few seconds before the ball arrives. He compliments his shooting with a good handle and ability to finish inside. Last year, he led the team in points, assists, steals, and three-point percentage. Offensively, he can knock down shots and distribute the ball well.
