He is young, and a lot can happen over the next few years, but if he stays in the gym and continues working on his craft, we will hear his name again. Beyond all that he showed on the court, I was most impressed with his unselfishness. He showed two-way ability as he scored and got his teammates into the flow of the game on offense. Defensively, he is very instinctive, as he played the passing lanes very well. There are some things that he has to work on as he continues his journey that will hurt him in the long run if he doesn't, and those are his body language and the fact that he tried to be too flashy at times.

Ford Burress (4'11/SG/2033/Mason Elementary)

IG: Ford_Tough_2033

Ford showed his multi-level scoring capabilities as he was really good at slashing his way into the paint and making plays. He shot the ball well from behind the arc and kept defenders having to play the drive and the shot, which left Ford in control of most of his one-on-one match-ups. He made it tough on opposing defenders as he proved to be primarily a slasher with a nice hesi dribble, who could both finish and find open teammates.

Israel Vereen (5'0/SG/2032/Northside Elementary)

IG: IzzyTheHooper

Israel lived in the paint throughout the weekend and was one of the best young finishers in his division. He is tough off the bounce and does a good job putting pressure on the defense and keeping his defender on his heels. Defenders had a really hard time containing him and keeping him out of the paint. He showed a budding craftiness when he had the rock in his hands and was looking to create off the bounce and drop a dime to his teammates.

Kruz Martin (5'1/PG/2032/Chattanooga Christian School)

IG: Kruz.da.nightmare

Kruz is a young PG who showed his ability to balance scoring and facilitating. He is quick off the bounce, has a nice middle game, finishes nicely at the cup, and knows how to orchestrate and get others involved. He has a shifty handle that he uses to get to his spots, and his creativity is seen when he is attacking off the bounce and can find teammates or create his own shot.

Mason Davis (5'3/Wing/2031/Sutton Middle School)

IG: Moneymase_5

Mason has size and used it to his advantage when attacking off the bounce, scoring deep in the paint, and rebounding at a high rate. He showed that he could knock down the trey ball, but on the glass is where he really stood out. He is definitely a young glass cleaner who was just more physical and more active on the glass than his peers.

Carter Singleton (5'2/PG/2032/Centennial Academy)

IG: presidentcarter_14

When it came to the younger division, Carter proved to be one of, if not the best, three-point shooters in the building. He really separated himself from his peers with his scoring arsenal and overall skillset. He was really good in the open floor and controlled the game with his ability to orchestrate the outcomes within the possessions. He has a really good feel and understanding at an early age, and his game is really beyond his years, and he makes everyone around him better.

Cason Browne (4'9/PG/2032/Leadership Prep Academy)

IG: cason_2tuff

Cason is small but was one of the most dynamic scorers in his division. He impacts both ends of the floor with his play. Offensively, he still has to learn to do more with less and use his handles to get to his spots, but he can flat-out score it from all over the floor. He is a shifty ball-handler with really good court vision and passing skills. He has a high level competitive spirit as he was going at his opponents with tenacity. Defensively, he used his hands extremely well to make deflections and create steals.
