<p><strong>Bethune-Bowman HS</strong>: The Mohawks (18-7) lost in the Class 1A State Championship Game last season to Christ Church. The Mohawks will rely on the services of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2211022' first='Bryson' last='Robinson']</strong> and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='2211021' first='Terrance' last='McFadden'] </strong>again this season. Robinson a long and rangy wing player averaged 11.8 ppg and 7.3 rebounds last season. McFadden is an undersized post with a soft touch around the cup averaged 10.9 ppg around the paint last season for the Mohawks.</p>

<p><strong>Calhoun Academy (St Matthews)</strong>: The Cavaliers play in the SCISA ranks. <strong>Chase Strickland</strong> is back after averaging 12.4 ppg and 9.8 rebounds last season. Strickland a senior excels on the hardwood, ball diamond and football field for the Cavaliers. <strong>Hunter Thornburg</strong> will provide production in the paint after averaging 11.3 ppg and 6.5 rebounds last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2352782' first='Nick' last='Lindsay']</strong> made the move over to Calhoun Academy this off season from nearby Holly Hill Academy.</p>

<p><strong>Calhoun County HS (St Matthews)</strong>: Zam Fredrick is back for his 34th year running the show for the Saints. Fredrick who has 826 career wins and 10 state championships at the school finished (15-9) a season ago.<strong> Jayden Wallace</strong> 14.4 ppg and <strong>Aaron Fredrick</strong> 10.3 ppg both are back to lead the Saints. </p>

<p><strong>Edisto HS (Cordova)</strong>: Longtime Head Coach Herman Johnson is back on the bench for the Cougars this season. The Cougars finished (6-17) last season.</p>

<p><strong>North HS</strong>: The Eagles and Head Coach Keith Parks had a great run a season ago. The Eagles finished (27-4) and lost in the Upper State Championship Game to Christ Church. Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1749270' first='Stetson' last='Stack']</strong> is the leader of this group after averaging and 5.2 rebounds a season ago. Stack currently has 1,198 career points entering his senior season. </p>

<p>Juniors <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2175527' first='Ashton' last='Jamison']</strong> 10.3 ppg and <strong>Jaliel Way</strong> 5.3 ppg will both provide some punch to the lineup for the Eagles this season. Freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2469361' first='Brayson' last='Schofield']</strong> will be a name to monitor inside the paint area. Schofield has a set of soft hands and nice touch around basket. He tends to be a magnet towards the ball and rebounds everything in sight at times.</p>

Riley a left-handed combo forward is a double-double guy for the Indians after averaging 14.5 ppg last season and 11.3 rebounds. Avery plays out top and looks to run the show for the Indians. He averaged 12 ppg a season ago. </p>
