707 Premier Camp: 2027/2028 Newcomers

Here at PH NorCal we're always on the look out for new prospects. The 707 event gave us the opportunity to add new prospects to our Watch List and Rankings on the next update.    He's a fast guard in transition, and working along the perimeter with good ball handling, and moves to create his own shot opportunities. He's got that burst to go by defenders, splits defenders, gets into the paint, then finish in different ways handling contact. He'll drive and kick, or pull up for paint jumpers.     A combo guard who contributes in different ways. He gives good effort on the defensive side of the ball. Lengthy arms, active hands, lateral movement, might get a steal or deflection. He finished transition layups, handled up top a bit, and hit an open 3ptr. He had good shoulder fakes driving the baseline, a willing passer.     He's a growing body with good fundamentals to work with. He makes use his body and a couple of dribbles to attack the basket from different angles. He worked well attacking from along the baseline for drives, and short jumpers. He made his transition layups. He'll make the pass, but looks for his shot.     He'll go on our Watch List as a player we need to see more. He has good size and body control, he protected the ball with his body on drives to the basket. He positioned himself for offensive rebounds, played good off two feet. He hustled up court for transition layups, he made the long pass up court.     He's a solid body, had good play around the basket, handling contact and going after rebounds. He can rebound, start the transition break with good passing. He had strong drives to the basket, throwing in a few spin moves to finish on balance. He fills the lanes for strong transition finishes.     The case can be made that he was the top 2028 at this event. Standing 6'4 and growing he showed an all round game that saw points in the paint, mid-post action, and work along the perimeter. He wants the ball on the block, finished with balance, used a dribble from the mid-post after facing up, he showed he could hit the 3ptr. He rebounds, runs, and defends.     He's a pass first point guard, showed good ball handling skills up top and in transition, he had good passes up court. He sees the court, moves the ball around the perimeter, when he saw an opening he took it to the basket. He looks like he can run a team.     He's a speedy point guard with ball handling skills to run the offense up top. He'll look to effect the game using his dribble to penetrate, collapse the defense, then dump it off, or kick it out to a shooter. He pushed and passed up in transition, he applied pressure on ball handlers.
