Here's some names to mention and highlight that nobody has otherwise thought of or maybe heard of since March. These all will be impact players, some might be their respective team's best player and some will even put themselves on a path to be recruited over the next eighteen months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2306368' first='Tavarish' last='Porter-Martin'] has a huge opportunity ahead this season after the departure of a fellow 2026 guard to prep school. T-Man has great athletic ability as well as a high motor and with continued skill work throughout the next year and a half could turn himself into a prospect. However he will have a quick turn around from the football field to the gymnasium to get himself ready for hoops this season but he'll be one of the key cogs in the program.

[player_tooltip player_id='2462309' first='Brody' last='Hamric'] is another outstanding player who will quickly make the transition from the gridiron to the gym. Hamric is a smooth and athletic guard with great size and length who scores at every level as well as finishes transition with dunks. An exciting athlete for sure, Hamric will certainly be the leader on the floor for the Spartans.

[player_tooltip player_id='2390884' first='Grady' last='Paynter'] has transferred from St Joe's to Cabell Midland and should make an immediate impact. Paynter is quick laterally with a little bit of shake in his offensive game while having a solid jumper from most anywhere. Paynter has a much bigger stage to state his game this season and we'd expect him to take advantage.

[player_tooltip player_id='2377474' first='Stephen' last='Boggs'] is maybe the least known on the list as he was just a sophomore for Braxton County last year, who did make a state tournament appearance while Boggs was a name bouncing through the civic center. Standing at a solid looking 6'6", Boggs is definitely one who could make a huge stride towards being one of WV's better post players.

[player_tooltip player_id='2324786' first='Colt' last='Sandy'] is likely the player who plays for the smallest school on the list but we're here to give him his props. Sandy averaged crazy double double numbers last year as a 6'4" sophomore and was the best player on the floor in nearly every game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2351428' first='Jacob' last='Wamsley'] is a scoring machine that hails from Tygarts Valley and will be returning again this year for the single A program. Wamsley is a do-everything type player who scores and rebounds in every way he should. With realignments, its possible to see Tygart Valley have a state tournament birth.

[player_tooltip player_id='2388364' first='Kaden' last='Keener'] is a player we've heard alot of great things about and his film confirms it. A quick and athletic guard with great size and plays hard on both ends. Keener follows in the footsteps of some great Grafton point guards but with his athleticism can be a star in that role.

[player_tooltip player_id='2605813' first='Isaac' last='Beall'] is one of the few true blue post players in his conference let alone WV. Beall can play physical on both ends back to basket on offense and guarding the post on defense. Great motor and good feet for a big, Beall should be near a double double most nights.
