The time has finally come as we have updated our senior class rankings in Virginia! The new rankings feature close to 40 new players, ranking 173 players in the state.

We'll take a look at some positional breakdowns in the rankings, looking at the guards, wings and forwards rankings. Here's part two of the wings, ranking the top shooting guards and small forwards in the class.

15) [player_tooltip player_id='2242375' first='Shane' last='Crissman'] | 6'5” SG | Miller School (#36 Overall)

Crissman is one of a number of new faces at Miller after being a standout the last few years at Riverside, and he's going to fit like a glove for the defending VISAA D2 State Champions in their uptempo, three-point heavy attack. The 6'5” wing has great size on the perimeter and should fill out in a college weight program, he is a dead eye shooter from deep with effortless range and a quick release and he is a high IQ player who makes the right play consistently.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='1494098' first='Justin' last='Burrough'] | 6'7” SF | Norfolk Collegiate (#34 Overall)

Burrough is set to have a breakout senior season and is one of the top available wings in the state, and he's the type of player that could be better in college than he was in high school with the right fit. At 6'7” with a strong frame and good athleticism he could step on a college court right now and blend in, he has good ball skills and the ability to knock down shots from deep, he can guard multiple positions and he's starting to play above the rim more as well.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='1598933' first='Cortlin' last='Siska'] | 6'4” SG | Bethel Academy (#33 Overall)

Siska rejoins the rankings after leaving SSSAS for Immaculate Conception in New Jersey last year, and he returns to attend Bethel Academy looking like a much improved player and late bloomer for coaches to check out. At 6'4” Siska has a great frame with long arms and a college ready body, he works extremely well in mid-post isolations, he can handle it and make shots on the perimeter and he's an explosive finisher too.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='1489070' first='Danzelle' last='Coles'] | 6'4” SG | STAB (#32 Overall)

Coles was one of the best players in Richmond during his sophomore and first junior campaign earning All State honors and leading Highland Springs to a state championship, and after transferring to STAB and reclassifying he burst onto the recruiting scene last summer at DMV Live where he picked up multiple D1 offers. He's a throwback style wing who oozes toughness and thrives when he can get downhill, he can score the ball from all over and he's an excellent rebounder for his position too.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='1956062' first='Desmon' last='Rose'] | 6'6” SF | John Marshall (#29 Overall)

While Rose is highly under recruited in my opinion, he could see plenty of coaches take an interest in him on this loaded JM team that will play a national schedule when they see how much he's improved over the past few years. At 6'6” with his explosive athleticism he'll have no problem blending in at the collegiate level, he's become a much more consistent shooter from deep, he can attack off the bounce and finish above the rim and he has tons of upside on the defensive end.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='2571731' first='Jaylen' last='Wynn'] | 6'4” SF | Peninsula Catholic (#24 Overall)

Wynn was the highest debuted player in the rankings that isn't an Oak Hill or military academy player, as he emerged this summer as one of the top players in the 757 and has a lot of interest from D1 schools with offers from several high level D2s already. At 6'4” he's a strong and physical wing that thrives in his ability to cut through defenses and play through contact, he's an athletic finisher above the rim and he can score it from all three levels as well.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1494110' first='Sebastian' last='Whitfield'] | 6'5” SF | Cape Henry (#23 Overall)

The Princeton commit was quickly becoming one of the top stock risers in the state this summer before a knee injury sidelined him for the rest of the summer as well as his senior season, but he did enough to earn a spot on one of the top basketball programs in the Ivy League. The 6'5” wing has been intriguing since his freshman year but it all started to click this summer as he showed his athletic finishing ability, his strength and ability to draw and play through contact and his ability to knock it down at a high clip from deep.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='2571724' first='Johnathan' last='Robinson'] | 6'5” SG | Blue Ridge (#20 Overall)

The younger brother of former Boston College standout and NBA player Jerome Robinson transfers in to an already stacked Blue Ridge group, and so far this fall he's shown he's got a ton of talent, particularly in his ability to score the basketball. At 6'5” he's a good athlete who gets good lift to make shots in the midrange without much space, he can attack downhill and finish at the rim, he can drill it from deep and he's dynamite in transition as well.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1956071' first='Adlan' last='Elamin'] | 6'7” SF | Paul VI (#15 Overall)

After transferring to PVI from Bishop O'Connell a few years ago, Elamin burst onto the scene with his unique blend of size, athleticism and skill that makes him one of the most intriguing long term prospects in the DMV. The 6'7” Utah State commit has very long arms he's a wiry and explosive athlete who can play above the rim, he's a very good shooter from deep who can make shots on the move and he shows flashes of being able to create off the bounce too.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1259633' first='Elijah' last='Kelly'] | 6'7” SF | Miller School (#14 Overall)

After transferring from Radford and reclassifying at Miller School last year, Kelly helped lead the Mavericks to the VISAA D2 State Championship and had a huge summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA'] before getting hurt in the final live period when his stock was soaring. The Longwood commit was one of the most improved players in VA last year, discovering his niche as a plug-and-play wing who thrives as a secondary option offensively but is an elite lock down perimeter defender who can guard the 1-4. He's a big time athlete who is very good running the floor and finishing in transition, he's improved a lot in his consistency as a catch-and-shoot guy from deep and he is a very good secondary ball handler and playmaker too.
