Rankings Review: New Additions to the 2025 Rankings

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2025 rankings are a week old and everyone has had a chance to look at them. While there was movement by some players in the rankings, there were new players added as well. The new players were from as far north as Minden and as far south as Houma. While he is a defensive end on the gridiron, he plays the post on the hardwood. George is a high flyer who defends the rim. He also finishes above the rim when he gets offensive opportunities. George is not a player you have to run plays for but you better know where he is when the ball comes off. They had a breakthrough season and Morris was a big part of it. He is one of the premier combo guards in north Louisiana. Morris can score from behind the arc and at the rim. He is a player who can also create turnovers with his defense. Keelan is the primary ball handler and distributor for the Division V stalwart. He also has the ability to fill the stat sheet as he plays both ends of the floor. Parrie can rebound and play passing lanes on defense. Offensively, he knows how to stretch the floor and score in transition. He is a player who excels on the defensive end and in transition. During The Expo in Baton Rouge, Pugh helped cause turnovers which got his team into transition. He can change ends with his long strides and finish with ease. He is a rim protector who is very good at altering players shots in the paint using his long arms. His reach is expansive which also helps for rebounding. Offensively, Sampson is still a work in progress. During the summer, most of his scoring was from offensive put backs. However, he knows how to get his teammates into the game. Stevens believes in penetrating and he is very crafty in his attacks to the rim. He has creative finishes and uses his strong upper body and the rim to complete those baskets. Stevens controls the ball when he has it and rarely makes mistakes. He has a big frame and showed that he knows how to use it in the paint. Wilson can score with his back to the basket and is a dependable rebounder. His rebounding prowess helps teammates leak out into transition. He may not be a big threat offensively.
