PH Freshmen Showcase: Team 7 vs Team 12

This 2028 class lived up to the hype at this year's freshman showcase. In a gym filled with talent I was able to pick some prospects who stood out to me the most.    Evans spent his summer months running [program_tooltip program_id='2391400' first='Team' last='Herro']. He began his high school career at Living Word Lutheran high school. At camp he proved to be a standout prospect. His athleticism was apparent on both ends of the floor. He showed he was a threat to score on all three levels of the floor. His ability to impact all facets of the game was impressive.     Martin spent his summer sharpening his game. He will take on his freshmen campaign at St Catherine high school. The 6'1 wing has good strength and skill. He showed off his ability to break down his matchup easily. Martin was proactive with his playmaking after reaching the paint. His on time and on target passing really stood out to me.     Walker caps his summer ball off after running with the Lakers. He begins his freshmen campaign at Pius XI high school. During camp he took on a gritty approach, He boarded and defended with purpose. The 5'7 guard was one of the more quick guards in attendance. His ability to read and react when at the helm was stellar.     Gemignani ran with MXTE over the summer. He will take on his freshmen campaign at Menomonee Falls high school. At camp he made it a mission to pull down rebounds on both ends. The 6'0 prospect wields a great motor and hustle. Gemignani had a solid shot selection at camp. I was really impressed with his ability to get to and knock down the mid range jumper.     Lekovic spent his summer months sharpening his skills. He has started high school attending Oak Creek. During camp he proved to be a threat on the perimeter on both ends. He needed to be located whenever he was near the three point line. He really stood out as a floor spacer for team 7. The arc on his jumper made for quite a few of “shooter's touch” makes.     Gullo wraps up his summer ball with [program_tooltip program_id='2139004' first='Team' last='Haliburton']. He will attend Mary D. Bradford for his freshmen year. At camp he took on a floor spacer role for team 7. He proved capable of hitting threes off of the catch. He even drained a few after being run off of the line. Gullo had a solid camp shooting from range.     Perry played all summer long with Jays Academy. He began his freshman year at Pius XI high school. During camp he wore his “two way” cap. He was very active in the passing lanes. He has quick feet and long arms that serve him well. I was very impressed with his ability to stay in front of the ball and fight over screens.
