Here were the 1st Team Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1135514' first='Treyvion' last='Curry'] Phhoenix Prep

A combo guard was one of the toughest covers at the camp. He is super twitchy and wildly athletic. He makes smart reads with slip passes into the post players and gets downhill attacking with his powerful handle, bounce and toughness. He is one of the better on-ball defenders in the class too. He picked up an offer from Fort Lewis this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146239' first='Carsyn' last='Dean'] Ironwood

A bigger scoring guard impressed. He is a true three level scorer and will rattle in catch threes, pull-ups from mid-range, dunks on the break and will often ball fake into a jumper. He was clearly one of the top scorers at the camp and uses his length in the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371094' first='Quincy' last='Kirk'] Canyon View

A good sized point guard with a knack for putting the ball in the hole. He is another that scores from all levels and his athleticism is steadily improving. He can score in the post with double moves to the basket, easy reverse layup step thrus, tear drops in the paint, fall aways, side step threes and smartly changes speeds to get downhill.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150852' first='DeNali' last='McNeal'] Canyon View

A bigger combo guard makes it look easy in many stretches. He has great size for position to get to the basket and will throw it down easily. He can shoot it with catch threes or off the dribble from distance. Him and Kirk will be a handful in 5A all year long and look to be a dynamic senior tandem.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950104' first='Jonathan' last='Mercado'] Chandler

A scoring lead guard is a lefty scorer. He is super poised and he is an accurate shooter from mid to the three. He will score it off the catch from the three and will score on tip-ins. He has a shifty handle to get a step on his defender and will make a play off of it once he touches the paint with next level passing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466067' first='Adrian' last='Stubbs'] Maryvale (Pictured)

The camp MVP put on a show. He is a tough undersized guard with some shift, strength and a lot of skill. He has a sudden pull-up from mid to the three and is very quick to collect steals. He is strong downhill but he also changes speeds to beat his defender. He will thread the needle when needed be and is a top notch rebounder in traffic for his size. He must have averaged nearly 30+ ppg with multiple steals and assists. He probably had 40 in one of the games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1490241' first='Elijah' last='Summers-Livingston'] AZ Compass Prep

A high flying power forward is a rim runner star. He had multiple ferocious dunks but also scored with offensive rebound put backs, rip thrus, dribble drives and he posted up a couple times into a dunk. He also showed off some skill with mid-range jumpers and a catch three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107106' first='Andre' last='Thomas'] Eduprize

Another long and hyper athletic power forward is Thomas. He is a sneaky good passer who moves well in space. He will block shots and gobble up balls to rebound. He can hit the three, fall away in the post, score on tip dunks and he is an elite transition player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553902' first='Donte' last='Williams'] AZ Compass Prep

A newcomer for me has recently grown and is breaking out before our eyes. He is a volume scorer with off the dribble threes, he is very athletic to the basket to dunk it effortlessly, he can pull-up from the three and get downhill thru traffic. He is a sneaky good passer and a long defender to collect steals. He will be in the upcoming rankings for sure.
