They won it all last year, the scary thing is, they bring back Brodina, Nelson, and Wirth. Keep an eye on Palmer, I think he is going to have a monster year shooting the ball. Who will be the Firebirds 5th starter and who are first few off the bench? Coach Brodina's squads are always tough and they play incredibly hard, this year will be no different.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Grafton -</strong> The Spoilers have the BIG 3 and they will be scary! Droog could be the best low post in Class A and he will demand attention. When you put Lillemoen and Rice around Kyler, they make for a dangerous squad. Grafton has the length to match up with the best. The only question is, who handles the ball and how much depth do they have? Lillemoen and Rice will have no problem spacing the floor and hitting 3's. How they handle pressure will be interesting.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Thompson -</strong> They will start 6'6", 6'6", 6'4", and 6'3", but who will run the show at PG? The Tommies will have no trouble matching up with DL &amp; Grafton. The questions are, who will handle the ball and who spreads the floor with 3-point shooting? The Tommies are my dark horse in Class A. They will be as tough as anyone on the boards and you will earn every bucket at the rim. Beware of the Tommies!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Four Winds-Minnewaukan -</strong> You can not discount the Indians. Legendary coach Rick Smith and assistant Travis Merterns are two of the best in the business. 4WM will not have the high-level talent we are accustomed to, but they will still be competitive. Deng will likely be an All-Region player, 4Winds also has a cast of young talent who could emerge. Time will only tell what 4Winds has to offer this season. It should be an interesting winter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Hillsboro-Central Valley -</strong> The Burros lost their senior size and interior muscle. They will likely have a difficult time matching up with DL, Grafton, and Thompson's size. Miller has the potential to be a breakout player for HCV. Haffely is also a nice player for HCV. Who will step up for the Burros this season?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Carrington -</strong> It could be another tough year for the Cardinals. Wins will be difficult to come by in Class A. Mehring is a soph who played for [program_tooltip program_id='2412528' first='Northern' last='Elites'], he put in the work and has the potential to be a baller to watch.
