[player_tooltip player_id='2748873' first='Marcus' last='McGee'] has gathered talent from across the SE and had a gym full of prospects putting in work. Here are some of my immediate takeaways on a few players…

Asa established himself early as a potent multi-level scorer. He can get to the rim and score at other levels, but it is the 3-point shot that makes him special. He is really crafty with the rock on the drive and did a good job creating his scoring opportunities off the bounce. He kept defenders having to make constant adjustments as they tried to guard him. Asa proved to be a well-rounded prospect who can do a little bit of everything. He does massage the ball a lot, which sometimes caused the offense to be stagnant, and as he learns to do more with less, he should see his performance and production increase.

He proved to be a quality scorer on or off the ball but also showed his ability to create for his teammates. He is a talented scorer who uses his dribbles to get to his spots on the floor and to create separation to get his shot off. He plays both ends of the floor as he is a disruptive on-ball defender forcing ball-handlers into mistakes. He rebounds his position, runs the floor, and flashed his athleticism throughout the day.

He can play on or off the ball and can be trusted to take the open perimeter shot and to facilitate the offense. He is a heady PG with natural instincts. He doesn't force anything, as he played within the context of what his teammates were doing. He is the kind of guy whose performance would be more impactful in a structured environment. He is a quality primary ball-handler in the right fit, but can always be a solid secondary ball-handler.

He was aggressive on both ends of the floor and impacted the game with his energy and effort. His decision-making skills have improved, along with his court awareness and set-up ability off the bounce. He was one of the brightest young freshmen showing promise. He enhanced the game with his PG skillset and is coming into his own, yet he has so much more developing to do, which is a scary thought for future opponents.
