Here's the players who raised their ranking the most from Southern West Virginia. Most are familiar names that have made big movements in the recruiting and offers department. But a few might surprise given their movement albeit quiet, but still moving their stock upwards.

What's left to say about [player_tooltip player_id='2208858' first='Tyronn' last='Paulin'] that hasn't been said? Well, we know he has a pile of offers with most recently D3 Muskinghum University in Ohio offering the 6'7" senior. Paulin's name has spread like wildfire since late this summer and seemed to begin with the offer to Fork Union Military Academy which anyone who knows now understands why all the other offers followed. Paulin finally cracked the D2 seal in August with a couple offers on that level and likely put him on the radar of the rest of the MEC for a follow up throughout school season at St Albans. We moved Paulin from 45 to 10 after seeing the steady stream of offers, doing our own evaluation in person and getting lots of feedback from coaches that have and have yet to offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241522' first='Drew' last='Fitzwater'] has the most significant climb going from 66 to 17 in one year. Fitzwater has put in serious time and effort to better himself in many areas and that work is starting to manifest itself into offers and interest. Drew has taken advantage of every opportunity and used his business-like approach to his recruiting to display his work with WV Reign, BlueChips Nation Hoop Summit, BlueChips Nation fall league squad, D&E Elite Camp last weekend. Drew is another prospect we've moved up due to offers, coach feedback, seeing him play in person as well as his measured improvement on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364913' first='Britt' last='Beasley'] has quickly become the focus of the Princeton Senior High School hoops program. The 6'0" senior point guard has already received an offer from Bluefield State which is close to home but we'd expect some D3's to come calling soon given Beasley's GPA (4.3) and his rise in stock. Britt is a point guard first but with combo-guard qualities when it comes to scoring. Look for him to lead the Tigers in several stat categories and pickup a few more offers before April.

[player_tooltip player_id='2367481' first='Luke' last='Michael'] is currently flying under the radar but don't count on that to last long. The 6'5" 200 lb wing sticks out in a crowd and even more so on a basketball team. Michael still looking for that elusive first offer but we feel it will come soon as he's been spotted by a few college coaches while playing on the BlueChips Nation Fall League team in Morgantown. Nobody can ignore his size and athleticism despite having some areas to improve on. Many coaches recruit on ceiling and potential and with big wings that can shoot being hard to find, we think Michael will find his place by school season's end if not sooner. Michael rose from 65 to 34 based on his huge potential in this recruiting class as well as being able to see him play versus top competition in person.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375169' first='Elijah' last='Martin'] is one of the newer names to many folks reading this as well as college coaches, but he's been noticed. Not only at his impressive performance at the state tournament where he affected the games so many ways on both ends, but he like so many others benefited from being seen at the BlueChips Nation Hoop Summit where he displayed excellent skill level and athletic ability on offense and a willingness to guard a full 94 feet on defense. We love his way of interjecting himself into games without having to touch the ball as well as doing so many of the little things that so many players don't see on the floor. His stock raised from 69 to 41 based on us seeing him in person multiple times and coaches feedback.

[player_tooltip player_id='2241529' first='Coleson' last='Christus'] is a great story so far and one that we believe will continue into a college career. The transfer from Huntington High to across county to Cabell Midland took the transfer year off as required by the SSAC and not only worked on his skill and basketball fundamentals, he worked on his body and filled out with muscle without losing any quickness or athleticism. So our first time seeing him in person was at the BlueChips Hoop Summit on August 3rd, which was his real first competitive event since the transfer. As I'm standing at the end line of his court with a half dozen coaches I start hearing "who's that kid" several times and I explained his journey to his current place. Undoubtedly Christus not only left an immediate and strong impression with me but also with most coaches standing in my area that day. After seeing Christus's level of athleticism and his physical stature, any school that gets to see him in person will have immediate interest and is why we moved him from our rankings watchlist to number 47.

[player_tooltip player_id='2472996' first='Taviun' last='Chandler'] is one of the more interesting players on this list as he could be the most athletic, could be the best college prospect or could be, given some very hare work the next six months, the lone Division I prospect on this list. In other words, Chandler has everything available to decide what his level will be after high school. He was nothing short of fantastic when we saw him at Myrtle Beach Big Shots Live in July and had impressed some folks who matter. Chandler plays on a very talented school team so don't look for him to lead the team or the state in scoring, but what you can look for is him being a matchup problem with most teams and him being Huntington High's best defender. All that being considered we pushed him from 79 to 62 this time around and anticipate that going higher the next update.
