2025 Guards at Creme of the County

The 9th Annual Creme of the County took place this past Saturday at St. Augustine High School in San Diego, California, showcasing some of the top basketball talent in the San Diego and Inland Empire regions. The event featured games for the 2029, 2028, 2027, 2026, and 2025 classes, culminating in a “Crème de la Crème” game that brought together the standout players from each class (excluding 2029).    Noah exhibited his versatility as a scorer with a strong ability to knock down 3-pointers and a soft touch around the basket. His aggressive attacks to the rim, paired with a strong build and base, allowed him to finish effectively through contact.     Xair stood out as an aggressive playmaker and scorer, using his quickness and athleticism to create opportunities on both ends of the court. He brought great hustle and effort, displaying a competitive edge defensively while consistently making plays with his speed and aggression.     Max showcased his all-around game with a strong ability to score and facilitate. He demonstrated a good touch around the basket, solid passing and playmaking skills, and was a very good 3-point shooter. His athleticism added to his effectiveness at both ends of the floor.     Elias impressed with his quick first step and aggressive drives to the basket, consistently putting pressure on the defense. He showed a pretty good shooting ability, both from outside and with a nice touch around the rim. Flaim's attacking mindset made him a constant threat on the offensive end.     Loxly showed off his quickness and solid handle, consistently creating opportunities by aggressively attacking the paint. He displayed a reliable midrange jumper and proved to be an effective passer and playmaker. Johnson's ability to get into the heart of the defense and make plays stood out throughout the event.     Angel demonstrated a strong shooting ability, particularly from beyond the arc, while also showcasing a reliable midrange pull-up game. His quickness and solid handle allowed him to navigate defenses effectively and create space for his shots.     Alek showcased his ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc with consistency, making him a solid 3-point threat. His playmaking also stood out, as he demonstrated excellent vision and the ability to create opportunities for his teammates.     JJ impressed as the better 3-point shooter of the twins, showing off his range and consistency from deep. He displayed an advanced understanding of body positioning and footwork when attacking the basket at creative angles, allowing him to be a dynamic threat attacking the rim even without tremendous athleticism. His smart off-ball movement and playmaking ability further highlighted his versatility on offense.     Nate Chou exhibited his skill as a solid 3-point shooter, consistently knocking down shots from beyond the arc. His quickness allowed him to create separation, and he also demonstrated his ability as a skilled passer and playmaker, effectively setting up his teammates.     Atreju stood out with his impressive quickness and agility, darting around the court with ease. He displayed a solid touch around the basket with either hand and demonstrated proficiency as an effective 3-point shooter. His ability to score from multiple areas makes him a versatile offensive threat.     Jordan impressed with his tenacity on defense, displaying a high level of competitiveness. He showed a reliable handle and good ball security while being an adept passer and playmaker. His effective midrange shooting and solid quickness further enhanced his impact on the game.
