We are continuing our coverage of RYZE Hoops Fall League’s high-stakes competition in an exhilarating display of basketball prowess. Week 1 has been nothing short of spectacular, showcasing a dynamic blend of breakout player performances and thrilling upsets that have kept fans and scouts on the edge of their seats.

Wade Kramer
Wade Kramer
Wade Kramer scored 16 points to lead his team to an impressive win over NCCS. Kramer played at his own pace and took what the defense gave him scoring 8 points in the first 7 minutes of the game. He didn’t limit himself to scoring from the perimeter, midrange, and getting to the basket. Kramer made a huge leap this summer in his shot selection and his IQ. His simplification of the game was a big factor in his performance. Kramer is poised in his actions but does not overextend himself as he eases into a comfortable shooting motion and release.

‘s 23 points weren’t enough as Adairsville felt to Cass 46-60. Despite the loss, Abernathy was still the most skilled player on the court. In this particular game, a vast majority of his offensive attacks came from the top of the key. The 6’7 hybrid forward seemed to be getting better from the spot, every touch, every quarter. His one dribble pull-up is elite, but that didn’t hinder his use of a variety of offensive moves. From pull-up 3-pointers to creative finishes around the basket, Abernathy was able to finish and earn every basket.

His precise ball control and decision-making allow the team to maintain a fast-paced attack while remaining in control. McClendon simply helps his team find the best shot opportunities. Offensive efficiency is a key aspect of Nettles’ game, as he uses his size to complement his skill set. His on-ball handling is excellent, and he is sure to keep his body between the ball and the defender.

Matthew McAuley
Matthew McAuley
Mathew McAuley had 24 Points in their win over Five Stripes. He was able to make an early impact with 16 points in the first half and used his first-half momentum to remain dominant in the 2nd half. McAuley’s performance against Five Stars highlights why he remains pivotal within Altoona High’s lineup going forward–whether igniting momentum shifts via transitional prowess, instilling tempo shifts off defensive gambits, or contributing crucially offensively. He can penetrate defenses by picking spots, carefully shot-wise, and half-courts as required situationally. McAuley undoubtedly stands poised as a potential standout prospect future evaluations suggest observing continual development closely!
