Newcomers to Watch: Class of 2028

<p>The t's have been crossed, the i's have been dotted and the bells have rung to kick off another school year. Incoming freshmen enter a new environment, full of nerves and hope. They are nervous about remembering how to get to classes and making new friends, but full of hope that this will be the start of a special four years of impact. I will cover four freshmen ready to burst onto the scene and make opponents nervous while providing hope to their program.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700"><a href="https://x.com/JalenPartridge_">https://x.com/JalenPartridge_</a></p>   <p>Partridge is an offensive weapon with the ball in his hands. His quick burst allows him to slither through lanes with multiple ways to finish around the rim. His confidence and intelligence on the court will create a quick transition to the high school level. Partridge's has the full bag offensively, including a clutch gene from deep. Mosala is a versatile weapon that they will have at their disposal. He can play on the perimeter, taking defenders off the dribble and knocking down spot-up threes or he can play in the post making shots off either shoulder with a soft touch. Mosala knows how to exploit a mismatch and has excellent footwork to create a good look at the basket. His ability to penetrate and make timely cuts to the basket often leads to easy buckets or a chance at an and 1. He is not afraid of contact in the painted area and rebounds well for a guard. Defensively, he is a menace. He applies a ton of on-ball pressure which can lead to a turnover and transition buckets. He is crafty with the ball in his hands. He is lightning-quick and is almost impossible to stop when he's coming downhill. Grant can easily turn possessions into a fast break but has a unique ability to see things slowly, which leads to great passes in transition.
