Horace Hawks – Birds of Prey

Picked up an offer from Jamestown. Turning into a great 3 level scorer! All EDC last year, can't wait to see how he improves for this winter.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1680906' first='Aiden' last='Green'] <strong>–</strong> "<em>Aiden emerged last year as our starting PG as a freshman. Heading into his sophomore year we expect big things from him. AG is great in the ball screen and has done a great job picking and choosing his moments on when to score and get others involved.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1189404' first='Brady' last='Westphal'] <strong>–</strong> "<em>Brady is a lethal shooter from deep. This AAU season he really focused on improving his defense to become a better 2-way player. He spent a lot of his summer in the weight room and I look forward to seeing that hard work pay off during his senior season!</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1541297' first='Kaiden' last='Peterson'] <strong>–</strong> "<em>KK had a great offseason for us and on his [program_tooltip program_id='2078372' first='ECI' last=''] team. I was really impressed with how he grew defensively this year playing for Coach Glasser. He is a player that everyone gets along with and can play 1-4 offensively! I can't wait to see what he brings to the table in November.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1651918' first='Brett' last='Livingston'] <strong>– </strong>"<em>Brett had a freshman season full of learning. He had an up-and-down year minutes wise but it really paid off for him going against the varsity guys everyday at practice. Brett will be a big focus for our team this year and a guy we look to play the game through for sure. Brett had a great summer in the weight room and I think playing football this fall will be great for him!</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1651920' first='Owen' last='Terras'] <strong>–</strong> "<em>Owen played with the varsity squad in every team camp and showed us that he belongs! Owen is still growing and can be a matchup nightmare in the future. Great at attacking closeouts, can shoot the three, and is developing a mid-post game. Once he buys into the weight room the sky is the limit for Owen!</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1632741' first='Tyler' last='Hjelmstad']</strong> <strong>– </strong>"<em>Played in a mix of Varsity and JV team camps. Tyler has a quick first step and played really well on the varsity squad getting downhill and creating for shooters around him. Tyler will be a junior and is starting to focus more and more on the importance of his strength training and his diet. We expect Tyler to make more strides this fall.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1651919' first='Ryder' last='Majkrzak'] – </strong>"<em>Ryder is a knockdown shooter and did a great job running the one with the JV squad this summer. When he played Varsity he was our leading scorer in a couple of games coming off the bench and hitting threes in bunches. Ryder is another young player we are really excited about. If he can buy into the defensive side of the ball and have a good fall in the weight room he will shock a lot of people come November.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>Three other guys worth mentioning are Senior <strong>Cole Summerville</strong>, and Juniors <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1798697' first='Austin' last='Ohleen']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1798699' first='Jett' last='Collins']</strong>. This summer seeing our guys not give up, compete, and get some wins under our belt was huge for our program!</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>PHD: What type of success did you see vs. the competition?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"<em>We went 14-4 this summer against a good mix of competition. I had a blast spending my summer with these guys and I think the relationships we are building will be huge for us in the winter.
