These guys are approaching a big year, heading from sophomores to juniors, and are some names to watch who could improve on already impressive scoring numbers. Take a look at some potential scoring risers in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205033' first='Alexander' last='Alexeev'] Sound Christian 20.4 PPG

He's a strong kid who can really do some damage around the paint and has the ability to put the rock on the floor and get paint touches from the outside. He struggled with some efficiency last year, only scoring 1.1 points per shot on about 19 shots a game. So, the volume should be there and if he can get a little more efficient from the field he should see his scoring numbers rise. He has a pretty good-looking shot from three, although he only shot 31% from deep and 48% from the foul line. I would not be surprised to see both of those numbers look better this winter and Alexeev improve on his 20.4 points per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2616653' first='Jake' last='Gledhill'] Summit 19.5 PPG

The 6'6 wing had 11 games in the 2023-24 regular season where he hit at least three 3-pointers. He scored in double-digits in every game he played and scored less than 15 in only four of them. He's not the quickest or shiftiest with the ball, but he has enough strength, length, and mobility to get to different spots and has shown a really smooth stroke to hit from 3-point and in the midrange. Gledhill handles the rock a lot for his squad and should be a riser to watch heading into his junior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2174679' first='Jabez' last='Boyd'] Life Chrisitan 15.8 PPG

There is a lot to like about Boyd's game, and as the main playmaker at Life Chrisitan, he has the rock in his hands a lot. He plays with a controlled pace, is ready to make moves and explode into gaps on the catch, and has the touch to score from every level. He didn't shoot a lot of threes last year, doing most of his damage scoring around the paint, but he has the shooting touch to expand his scoring profile and build on that per-game average from last season. Even without shooting a bunch from downtown, Boyd showed some great instincts to get into dangerous spots and to the rim, and after a big leap in his sophomore campaign, he looks like a kid who could make another big step forward this winter.

Kaleb Dehaan Eastlake 13.8 PPG

Dehaan is not a kid we've covered before but he had a solid sophomore season and looks like he has all the tools to improve upon an already solid scoring average. He has some size at 6'3 and is strong enough to play physical from different spots. But he also does a good job recognizing matchups and deciding how to attack different defenders and from where. He has a solid stroke out to three, can work from the blocks against smaller guys, and does a good job with strong rip-thru's to get to the hoop. Dehaan also sets a lot of off-ball screens, and from that, he's able to get to space and create some separation to create favorable scoring opportunities.
