AAB Showcase 2027/2028 Top Performers

Saturday August 10, PH NorCal took a ride over the Bridge to Dominican College in San Rafael CA. The AAB Showcase event took place. College coaches ran a skills and drills clinic before 6 camp games.    He's a fast quick twitch guard. His superb ball handling skills, and movements allows him to freeze, and go by defenders. His stop and go, crossovers, and a burst to get into the paint when needed was noted. He'll challenge in the paint, run the offense, finish high off the glass, tough to contain in transition, he dropped a few 3's off the dribble. A pesky defender.     He was good all around, making the effort to defend using his lengthy arms, staying in front, and moving with the ball handler. He was fast filling lanes in transition. He helped rebound. He looks more like a cutter and slasher who can receive and finish through contact around the rim. He did show a couple of strong drives across the lane for points. A good defender, ball mover.     He's an aggressive guard with a good set of handles looking to use his dribble attacking from the perimeter, he had a couple of finishes high off the back board, he hit the paint jumper, was aggressive going to the basket in transition. He hit the mid-range off the dribble, and a couple of catch 3's along the perimeter.     Standing 5'9 he had good bounce, going up for shots, he showed lift on his paint jumper. He used his handles and leverage to weave his way inside to challenge long arm defender around the basket. He harassed ball handlers at times with his quick hands.     He's a player that looks to put up 3's when he's open, using screens, catch and shoot, and a dribble or two to free himself up. He shoots with confidence knowing he'll get one to go. He moves well looking for open spots, he has good speed. He had a few crossover dribble to get to the paint, he'll move the ball.     He's a solid body guard with square shoulders. He has a good set of all around skills, and make good decisions on the court. He knocked down the open 3 when it was there. He used his strength and handles to get into the paint to finish in traffic. He's a willing passer, showed good court vision.
