Twice The Fun: Top Double-Double Producers Returning In 2024-25

At the high school level, it's more difficult to get a double -double because games are only 32 minutes long. Here are some of the top double-double producers returning for the 2024-25 season:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717249' first='Hayden' last='Bruhn'], Logan</strong>: The 6-foot-6 Bruhn, along with 6-foot-4 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717329' first='Mason' last='Wallin']</strong> (16.4 ppg, 10.3 rpg), was a double-double machine in 2023-24, posting 18 of them in 31 games as he averaged 16.2 points and 11.5 rpg in 31 games. Both Bruhn and Wallin are juniors, so they have two seasons remaining. Logan could make some serious &nbsp;noise to Class 1A this season after reaching the playoff semifinals in March. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687863' first='Kayle' last='Covington'], Lovington</strong>: The 6-foot-4 Covington, who plays shooting guard, is enjoying a fantastic summer and should be one of the top players in southern New Mexico in 2024-25. Last season he had 15 double-doubles on the way to averaging 15.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. JUCO Mid-Michigan College extended an offer earlier this month. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717324' first='Scotty' last='Guerro'], Alamo Navajo</strong>: Guerro had 11 double-doubles for the Cougars last season in helping them reach the Class 1A playoffs. He averaged 14.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Alamo Navajo's top scorer last season graduated but Guerro and several other promising young players return.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2833935' first='Marcos' last='Sisneros'], Mountainair</strong>: Just a sophomore, Sisneros is one of the up-and-coming players in the state. He had an impressive 16 double-doubles for the Mustangs in 2023-24 when he averaged 14.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Sisneros is just scratching the surface of his potential. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2163543' first='Jeffrey' last='Stuteville'], Magdalena</strong>: Magdalena went 30-2 last season but one of those two losses came to Fort Sumner/House in the 1A state championship game.
