<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at a group of Class of 2026 standouts who caught our eye during our visit to the Reebok World Championships on Friday night in Chesterfield.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2426370' first='Pacey' last='Reading'] (Tri State Select): A 6'4" wing from Van-Far who was causing matchup problems with his size and versatility. He was attacking defenders with physical drives to draw contact to get buckets and three-point plays. He has a nice turnaround jumper in the lane. He has solid playmaking skills on the perimeter as he can handle the ball and facilitate offense with good decision making.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2423240' first='Joshua' last='Nichols'] (Life League Silver): A 6'3" shooting guard from Parkway North who knocked down deep shots from well beyond the 3-point line. He could also put the ball on the floor and hit the one-dribble pull up jumper. His handles are smooth and he can also facilitate offense.</p>

<p>Jaxton Skaggs (Missouri Phoenix): A 6'0" guard from Class 1 Bunker who has good skill level and a nice overall feel for the game. He has good range and a quick release on his 3-point shot. He can also shot fake and beat the close out to dribble drive to the basket. He can also pass it very well. He was the most creative player on his team with the ball.</p>

<p>Josh Shannon (Life League Silver): A 6'2" guard from Parkway North who is a very unselfish player who was always looking to make the extra pass to an open teammate. He was good at looking up the floor for the early transition pass. He was also hitting high-arching 3-pointers when he was open.</p>

<p>Cooper Knowles (Tri State Select): A 6'7" forward from Warsaw (IL) who is a long, athletic player who could impact the game at both ends of the court. He can catch and shoot it and can also drive it and score with a nice touch inside. He showed some explosiveness with a nice two-handed tip dunk in traffic. He also ran the court easily to score in transition. His shot blocking was also very impressive.</p>

<p>Jahuris Goodwin (Heat Select): A 6'2" wing player from Sikeston who plays much bigger than his actual size. He has prime-time athleticism, which he displayed by going up in crowds to grab rebounds. He threw down an impressive dunk in transition that got folks going early in the game that I watched. He is a high-energy player who will also slash to the basket.</p>

<p>Andrew Griffin (Life League Silver): A 5'10" point guard from Parkway North who has a good quickness and an excellent burst to beat defenders on dribble penetration. He was adept at going high off the glass to hit runners and also serving up teammates for easy buckets with drop offs. He also distributes the ball well and he plays solid on-ball defense.</p>

<p>Owen Sanders (Missouri Phoenix): A 6'4" forward from Bunker who has good athleticism and was one of the most impressive shot blockers that I watched during the evening. He has a quick jump off the floor and good timing. He was blocking shots in the paint and on the perimeter. He is solid finisher inside and he was also grabbing rebounds at the high point off his jump.</p>
