One of the most important part of scouting tournaments is building your lists for future rankings. In doing that, making 14U teams a priority is a must. Both of these teams have rosters full of players that will be ranked immediately if they aren't already. And now it will be up to them to hold their respective spots!

The BG Storm roster boasts several bright new faces with many budding superstars. Led by the big man [player_tooltip player_id='2425400' first='Joseph' last='Fenstermacher'] who opened session II with a huge 25 points, BG Storm has had continued success throughout the spring and summer. Teamed up with Fenstermacher was [player_tooltip player_id='2444038' first='Graham' last='Saas'] who plugged four double digit scoring efforts in both sessions. Also on the floor was [player_tooltip player_id='2444036' first='Treyson' last='Metheney'] who's younger brother of D1 guard Kaden Metheny. Treyson is a highly skilled guard who shoots it extremely well from deep and never broke double digits in scoring, but Treyson is masterful in controlling tempo and running the show at point. The most consistent scorer for the Storm club was Josh Shrewsberry who poured in double digit efforts in every game both sessions except the last one. [player_tooltip player_id='2444039' first='Kohen' last='Ford'] posted a 15 point performance in the opener in session I, meanwhile Alex Brown, Cole Prettyman, Isaiah Garnek, Kaine Boyle all were contributing pieces of their success. This is a disciplined and skilled group who will have great momentum going into high school this fall.

WV Hustle Big Shots

The 14U version of WV Hustle blew through the session two competition posting a 4-0 record. The high school season could be an exciting one for folks around the Shady Spring program as the Hustle 14U boasts multiple players that will play high school there. [player_tooltip player_id='2425394' first='Eli' last='Sexton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2425395' first='Gabe' last='Short'] are nothing short of exceptional for incoming freshman and as skilled as I've seen for guards that age. Sexton was steady in scoring while Short led the team all three games but scoring is only a fraction of their value. Both guards can play either position, pass the ball far beyond their years as well as finish with confidence. The other WV based players on the team that were on the roster for MB, [player_tooltip player_id='2739677' first='Gage' last='Burdette'] who scored in every game, [player_tooltip player_id='2425396' first='Jovante' last='Spencer'] scored in all three contests, [player_tooltip player_id='2425397' first='Keelan' last='Remy'], an improving post player, [player_tooltip player_id='2425398' first='Kobe' last='Duncan'] who will be at Shady Spring next year and [player_tooltip player_id='2500146' first='Ryan' last='Mollohan'] who also scored in all three contests. With possibly the best 14U guard tandem in WV, this team has been destined to win some championships.
