One of the most pleasant surprises of the week was getting to finally watch Bryce Radford Elite squad play. I've read so much about them and know these players well from school season, but couldn't wait to see them play together and in person. You probably couldn't put together a better group of pure shooters on one squad with WV based kids if you tried. It was nothing short of refreshing and fun to watch guys pass and move the ball with ease and then execute it with great shot selection and made buckets at a high rate.

Coming off the bench are [player_tooltip player_id='2211914' first='Brody' last='Radford'] who is a strong, quick and decisive point guard who defends with great energy and intensity. Radford plays the game with great effort and IQ and is a perfect spark to a team on either end. The big off the bench is [player_tooltip player_id='2243496' first='Zayden' last='Neely'] and he provides a solid punch in the paint, great passer from the post and big and strong enough to protect the rim.

My personal favorite of the team, [player_tooltip player_id='2376948' first='Benji' last='Adkins'] (being a former post player myself) who does every bit of dirty work required, defends the post at a high level, and never squanders a finishing opportunity from an offensive rebound. Adkins has a great feel for being somewhat of a role player (despite possibly being high schools top returner) on a squad of absolute shooting phenoms. Nonetheless, Adkins stood out as a high quality post player and did everything necessary to put his team in position to win.

The next guy that I really wanna shed some light on because I feel like much of the state doesn't know much about him is [player_tooltip player_id='2243495' first='Carson' last='O'Dell']. O'Dell can score with the best of them and did just that while in Myrtle. Multiple double digit scoring games and was nothing short of efficient including a 19 point performance to close the MB I stanza. Joining O'Dell as one of the up and coming names to know is [player_tooltip player_id='2500111' first='Matthew' last='Mullen']. Mullen's strong 6'4" frame jumps out at you immediately and he knows how to use it. Mullen rebounds at a high level as well as defends three and sometimes four positions. I was very impressed with his athleticism when guarding smaller and what should be quicker opponents. Mullen also did a great job on the perimeter making sure the ball was swung from side to side getting delivered to shooters. He's been since added to our 2026 rankings.

Last and certainly not least is the duo of "shooters" on this team, at least what i saw. Lets start with [player_tooltip player_id='1851877' first='Harry' last='Silvis']. Silvis who's a D1 Radford offered shooting guard, looks the part, plays the part and is the part. Silvis has been one of the best shooters, if not the best, for two years running. Silvis is a coaches dream as he handles the ball with ease, shoots at a high percentage and defends as well at a high level. Lastly, the guy that caught everyone's eye, many unexpectedly, [player_tooltip player_id='2092029' first='Coby' last='Dillon']. Dillon absolutely lit it up all weekend, controlled the ball and game in every contest and delivered big shot, after big shot (no pun intended) throughout the weekend. Dillon was nothing but a joy to watch.
