The final week of the live period just ended, and one of the best events took place in Virginia Beach with the Hoop Group/Hoop Seen Summer Finale. The 12 court facility was packed with teams ranging from Florida to New York, with a large portion of those teams coming locally from VA.

Here's a look at part 2 of some of the 16U standouts from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451946' first='Tyrell' last='Beverly'] | 6'6” F | Team Push 17U

Beverly was highly impressive in his final AAU event of the year, showing big time upside with his athleticism and high motor on both ends of the floor. The 6'6” hybrid forward thrived on the defensive end with his ability to guard on the perimeter and protect the rim coming help side, he showed a good base skillset to build on with the ability to handle it in straight lines and soft touch out to the three-point line and he played with great energy making winning plays on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451937' first='Adarius' last='Boston'] | 6'4” WG | Team Push 17U

Boston is an under the radar guard who coaches should consider taking a look at, as he has shown a lot of improvement over the summer and checks a lot of boxes as a long term prospect at his position. At 6'4” he has long arms and used his length to get deflections and challenge shots, he showed the ability to knock down shots on the move from deep and he got to his spots and made tough shots from the midrange too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1343624' first='Khalil' last='Caple'] | 6'4” WG | Team Push 17U

Caple is the type of player that coaches always say they want, an unselfish do-it-all player who can impact the game across the board, so it's surprising he doesn't have more going on in his recruitment right now. The 6'4” guard showed good strength getting physical in the paint on switches and hitting the glass, he made great reads with the ball in his hands, he made shots from multiple levels and just consistently did the little things to help his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452107' first='Knox' last='Axselle'] | 6'5” WF | Team Richmond 17U

Azselle is set to have a breakout senior season at Atlee this year, as he's gotten better over the course of the summer and with his blend of size and skill he is an intriguing prospect moving forward. At 6'5” he's well built and a good athlete who showed it with a few thunderous dunks over the weekend, he's a driller from deep with effortless range and great form and he rebounded well for his position too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451966' first='Cole' last='Hoffman'] | 6'8” C | Team Richmond 17U

Hoffman is another player for this Richmond group that got better and better throughout the summer, culminating in quite a few college coaches following him around in VB. The 6'8” big man is an intimidating post presence with his strong build and willingness to play physical in the paint, he showed good moves and counters around the basket, he finished with both hands through traffic and looked very confident in his ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242387' first='Tykie' last='Jones'] | 6'4” WF | [program_tooltip program_id='2248971' first='River' last='City Reign'] 17U

Jones has been one of the most consistent players I watched this summer, as he understands his game and simply produces time and time again when he's on the floor. The 6'4” wing showed a great motor on both ends sprinting the floor and hitting the glass, he was excellent in the midrange both on pull-ups and in post ups and it's always nice to see a team's top scorer that will battle and make the hustle plays with energy that's infectious to the team.
