Selects might not have started the year as the best team on paper but the certainly proved it on the hardwood.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"style":{"typography":{"fontSize":"23px","fontStyle":"normal","fontWeight":"800"}}} --> <p style="font-size:23px;font-style:normal;font-weight:800">"<em>The [program_tooltip program_id='2078372' first='ECI' last=''] 16U Select team had an unbelievable season. After losing the first game of the season, we won 22 games in a row. We had some amazing wins over some of the best teams in the Midwest. We won the Twin Buttes Battle in Duluth and the [program_tooltip program_id='2078372' first='ECI' last=''] Spring Showdown Championships. We went 4-0 in Pool A at the Prep Hoops Stomping Grounds in Sioux Falls. Finished with an outstanding 28-5 record. Our team was the definition of unselfish players and showed just how successful a team can be when they play together and play for each other. He continued to battle throughout the season and was more and more aggressive each tournament. A big with very good footwork and continues to improve his game each year.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1541295' first='Haakon' last='Seymour'] - "<em>One of the most versatile players on the court and a motor that never stops.&nbsp;Defensively, he can guard all 5 positions.&nbsp;He is fast and quick enough to defend the guards, big and strong enough to defend any BIGs. Offensively, he can score at all 3 levels and is smart enough to take advantage of his defender.</em>"</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1531064' first='Jackson' last='Barth'] - "<em>He is Probably the most improved player throughout the season. He is also a dynamic on-the-ball defender and is great with ball pressure. He has the capability to take over a game with his shooting stroke/ability. So when he penetrates, it puts a lot of&nbsp;pressure on the defense. But, when teams lay off him because of the threat of penetrating, he can knock down the outside shot with great consistency. His biggest strength is how hard he works all over the court. He is a top-notch defender who can take away the other team's best player.
