We are looking at [program_tooltip program_id='2078372' first='ECI' last='']'s top 16U squad in this article. Selects might not have started the year as the best team on paper but the certainly proved it on the hardwood.

"The [program_tooltip program_id='2078372' first='ECI' last=''] 16U Select team had an unbelievable season. After losing the first game of the season, we won 22 games in a row. We had some amazing wins over some of the best teams in the Midwest. We won the Twin Buttes Battle in Duluth and the [program_tooltip program_id='2078372' first='ECI' last=''] Spring Showdown Championships. We went 4-0 in Pool A at the Prep Hoops Stomping Grounds in Sioux Falls. Finished with an outstanding 28-5 record. Our team was the definition of unselfish players and showed just how successful a team can be when they play together and play for each other. We always took pride on the defensive end and that really separated us from other teams." -Dan Glasser

[player_tooltip player_id='1541298' first='Jack' last='Wheeldon'] - "He is long and has the ability to affect both ends of the court in the paint. He continued to battle throughout the season and was more and more aggressive each tournament. A big with very good footwork and continues to improve his game each year."

[player_tooltip player_id='1541295' first='Haakon' last='Seymour'] - "One of the most versatile players on the court and a motor that never stops. Defensively, he can guard all 5 positions. He is fast and quick enough to defend the guards, big and strong enough to defend any BIGs. Offensively, he can score at all 3 levels and is smart enough to take advantage of his defender."

[player_tooltip player_id='1531064' first='Jackson' last='Barth'] - "He is Probably the most improved player throughout the season. He always was a big, strong kid that rebounds well. But, his offensive improvement in hitting the outside shot and being able to penetrate makes him very tough to defend."

[player_tooltip player_id='1510890' first='Dylan' last='Glasser'] - "A great all-around guard who defends the ball tough and scores with the outside shot or penetrating. His strength helps him on both ends of the court and shares the ball well with the open teammate."

[player_tooltip player_id='1418033' first='Grant' last='Bieber'] - "A great outside shooter who can also penetrate which made him very hard to defend. He is also a dynamic on-the-ball defender and is great with ball pressure. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury that cut his AAU season a little short, but he will be back and better than ever ready for the high school season."

He understands the game very well and has the ability to take on any role a team may need. He is versatile offensively and does whatever it takes to make the team successful."

[player_tooltip player_id='1541297' first='Kaiden' last='Peterson'] - "A knockdown shooter who really spreads the defense out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1559968' first='Raeshaun' last='Earl'] - "An outstanding all-around athlete who can jump, is quick, strong, explosive, and fast.
