McCoo had a monster weekend for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears']. The Mascoutah combo guard closed out the summer with a strong performance putting an exclamation point on a very good last few months. The first thing that stands out with McCoo is his ability to get to the rim. Explosive combo that plays with a ton of speed and burst. Blows past defenders in the one on one situations in the half court. He is at his best in transition using his speed to push finding others or going right to the rim for scores. His jump shot has made major strides during his career as he is a sound mid-range shot maker and adequate from three. Solid decision maker with the ball in his hands as a distributor. High level defender that will take on the task of guarding the opponents best perimeter player. Quick hands swiping steals along with being able to get a block shot on occasion from his guard spot.

This Marshall 6'1” combo guard made a major impression with the way he played on Saturday. Plus shot maker from three that drained five three pointers en route to 20 points. He has a quick release on his shot and consistent mechanics. The 2026 guard had a breakout performance!

Dawson had a big summer putting his name on the map. The Belleville East scoring guard is a well built stocky scorer that loves to get downhill for scores. Gets buckets with brute force in the lane as defenders bounce off of him. Has a soft touch finishing game and a mid-range pull up. One of the better rebounding guards in the class as he crashes hard and has a nose for getting boards on both ends. Brings toughness and aggressiveness on the defensive end guarding on the ball.

The Belleville Althoff point guard had a nice outing at Arch Madness. He is a quick and shifty lead guard that handles it well getting to his spots where he is effective shooting it from mid-range as well as being a decent three point shooter. Fouled in the lane multiple times on slippery takes and made solid decisions with the ball in his hands.
