He's gotten a lot more physical, which lets him get closer to the basket when he's posting up, and he's gotten better at finishing through contact. He's also gotten faster at getting to the rebound after a miss. He's a natural athlete, and it's exciting to see him putting his talent to work. If he keeps this up, he's definitely one to watch.

Engstrom is a strong guard that will need to be impactful and is more than capable as he will be at the new high school that will be playing in 4A up North this next season. He can catch and shoot and he finds ways to finish in the paint. He is running with TSBA right now.

Donelson is actually at Highland and he will have time to develop nicely there and when he is ready he will hit the ground running as he has shown in July that he can score and the kid is as quick as they come. Nice young player that will rise slowly.

I was impressed by [player_tooltip player_id='1724364' first='Malik' last='Sika']'s commitment to defense. He is used to being undersized and has learned how to defend players at multiple positions. I also saw how hard he works, tracking down rebounds and getting tips. He does the little things that help teams win, and I think he is a player to watch.

Sika is a 6'2” small forward/guard who plays with great effort. He isn't afraid to take on bigger players in the post and battles with guards and wings on the perimeter. He is quick and agile, so he can stay in front of most guards. He also anticipates well, so he can intercept passes and jump passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2400409' first='Noah' last='Cardon'] is a sleeper in this class. He's quick, he knows how to use his quickness, and he can shoot from deep. He's got a sweet lefty stroke. I think he could be a huge asset for Mountain Crest. Expect him to have a breakout year. He has been playing great for Next Level.
