There’s been a lot of movement with this class, as players have improved and essentially proved us wrong! Here’s a look at part two of the top risers in the group.
Mykell Harvey

Harvey
6'2" | SF
Northside | 2025
State
VA
| 6’2” SG | Northside
Previous Rank: 86
Current Rank: 48
Harvey had his breakout season as a junior with Northside leading them to their second straight state championship, and as part of one of the top backcourts in the state. The 6’2” off guard has a nice blend of athleticism and skillset with the ability to play on and off the ball, he gets downhill aggressively and is a fearless finisher at and above the rim, he can score it from multiple levels and he is a very good defender too.
Jeremiah Gorham

6'1" | PG
Highland | 2025
State
VA
| 5’11” PG | Highland School
Previous Rank: 68
Current Rank: 52
Gorham is the classic example of playing with other talented players and often being overshadowed in high school, but this spring with Global Squad he’s been on an absolute tear. The 5’11” lefty has shown his ability to get wherever he wants off the bounce with his shift and burst, he has put up big scoring numbers making difficult shots from all over and showing he can run the show and make plays for others too.
Andrew Maria

Maria
6'5" | SG
Yorktown | 2025
State
VA
| 6’5” CG | Yorktown
Previous Rank: 114
Current Rank: 64
Maria is another player that has been absolutely fantastic this spring with the Washington Warriors HGSL group, and his unique skillet as a guard at his size is very intriguing moving forward. While he isn’t the most athletic guy he is very skilled and crafty off the bounce getting to his spots, he can raise over smaller defenders and make tough shots, he delivers passes on point and he is very crafty around the rim too.
Jalen Deloatch

Deloatch
6'4" | PG
James River | 2025
State
VA
| 6’4” PG | James River
Previous Rank: 94
Current Rank: 69
Deloatch was one of the top guards in the Richmond area the past year and is a big time scorer at the lead guard position that will be one of the top scorers in Richmond next year. At 6’4” he’s a big and strong guard who can get downhill and create space to finish at the rim, he’s able to create space and knock down shots from deep and in the midrange as well and he can get hot and take over games as well.
Jayvion Green Jayvion Green 6'4" | SF Maury | 2025 State VA | 6’4” SF | Maury
Previous Rank: 111
Current Rank: 71
Green is a player we’ve been tracking and he’s continuing to get better over time, and his upside is through the roof with his physical and athletic tools. At 6’4” he’s a big wing who has a strong frame and is very athletic when he gets out in transition, he can knock down shots from deep off the catch and get to spots off the bounce and he has a lot of upside as a lock down defender moving forward.
Brandon Leduc-Mattox | 6’2” SG | Carlisle
Previous Rank: 123
Current Rank: 89
Leduc-Mattox has been a big part of the revival for Carlisle who has made the state championship game the last two years, and he’s been one of their leaders in both years. The 6’2” shooting guard is a big time athlete who can play above the rim in transition, he can score the ball from all three levels both on and off the ball and he consistently plays hard and makes plays on both ends of the floor.
