UGA Team Camp Standout Guards

Tre is a bucket on the perimeter. The game comes easy to the Class 5A Freshman of the Year. He creates separation with a crafty dribble and delivers daggers with his pull-up jumpers. Keith uses his body on drives, showing an old school feel when backing down his man before freeing himself with a spin. With new faces in the lineup, Keith made sure to serve as a pass-first playmaker to make others comfortable but when a basket was needed, Tre knew what to do.     The lefty shoots the three with deep range over top of screens. He worked the baselines well against Tri-Cities, getting downhill. While Travis can go on mini scoring streaks by himself, his passing is another strong facet that can't be forgotten about. When he drives, he sees the floor and hits shooters in their shot pocket. Herrin does a good job feeding the post.     High-energy wing jumps out of the gym and makes plays on both ends of the floor. The two-way standout has a soft floater and is good at absorbing contact when finishing. His three-point shot has become extremely accurate. Aiden holds monster value on defense with his versatility and nose for the ball.     The skinny guard is a lights-out shooter. He swished five threes in the two games I watched, averaging 9.5 points per game. JJ has a high release, bringing the ball behind his head. His shot isn't the quickest, but he has a repeatable stroke which can be difficult to contest for smaller defenders.     Karez is explosive as both an athlete and a pure scorer. Demory makes highlight plays downhill with his ability to elevate, but his jump shot is what impresses me most. Demory creates separation and gets to his spots with his signature pull-up jumper. He can kiss shots off the glass from tough angles. Demory's popularity outside of Middle Georgia is picking up. He's close to becoming a household name.     The quarterback is a shifty playmaker. He has strength at the guard position and uses his body to get past defenders. The lefty is willing to make daring passes and look off the defense as he would on the football field before riffling in assists. When Knapp gets to the basket he can hang in the air for crafty finishes. RJ often contributes across the board with robust stat lines.
