Jayshod Pearson (5’8/PG/’26/Florence HS)

Jayshod is a small lead guard but impacts the game in a huge way. At times in the match-up against Hoover, he was the only person who seemed to be able to get anything going on the offensive end of the floor. He sometimes had to do a lot for his team, from orchestrating to scoring to getting others involved. He plays low to the ground due to his size, and he is able to slip between defenders and make plays in traffic. He is tough off the bounce and showed to be very reliable at the lead guard position.
Cortez Williams Cortez Williams 6'0" | SG Ramsay | 2026 State AL (6’1/Wing/’26/Ramsay HS)

Cortez was one of the top shooters from behind the arc, and if he can be that for the Rams throughout the season, he will force defenses to pick their poison. With the addition of Jay Green Jay Green 6'0" | PG Ramsay | 2026 State AL to the squad, who is a pass-first PG, Cortez’s ability to knock down the three will be key to keeping the floor spaced, allowing the driving lanes to stay open.
Kamryn Foster (6’1/CG/’28/Homewood HS)

X: @Showtime_kam2
Kam is a young emerging prospect with a good frame to build upon as he prepares to take the floor for his freshman season next year. He had some inconsistencies, which is a consistent, which he will see in his game during his first year. However, he is a player who can get to the rack off the bounce in transition and in the half-court. He was playing on the JV squad through the scholastic event, so if that stays the same, he will be able to develop on JV before taking the step to the varsity level. He is one of the top 2028 kids in the state and was recently identified on the Alabama 2028 Watchlist.
Israel May Israel May SF Cornerstone | 2025 State AL (6’3/Wing/’25/Shades Valley HS)

Israel is a transfer coming into the Mounties program and showed some moments during the scholastic weekend that show he is going to be a good addition to the program. He has good positional size, can score off the bounce, goes to the glass, and will bring a level of toughness once he gets settled into his role. With a departure from the team this week, the Mounties coaching staff will need Israel to step up sooner rather than later.
Ty Bryant Ty Bryant 6'3" | CG Enterprise | 2025 State AL (6’2/CG/’25/Enterprise HS)
IG: tybryant06
X: @TBryant06
Ty heads a very explosive offense that will give many teams problems next year. He is a playmaker who balances scoring and facilitating. He has really good court vision and does a good job getting the ball up the court with the kick-ahead pass. He does a good job initiating the offense, and when he is looking to score the rock, he is a shifty bucket-getter. His PG IQ is still emerging, as he missed some mismatches from defensive switches.
Hudson Gossett Hudson Gossett 6'1" | PG Huntsville | 2027 AL (6’1/PG/’27/Huntsville HS)
IG: hudsongossett3
The name may sound familiar, as Hudson is the younger brother of JD Gossett JD Gossett 6'3" | CG Huntsville HS | 2025 State AL . He is a highly skilled young emerging talent. He showed a poise throughout the event that was beyond his years. He is young but showed that he is a trustworthy lead guard who could run the show for the championship-contending Panthers. Make no mistake about it: Hudson will be the Panthers’ next program cornerstone floor general.
