Highlights
When defending Gibson, you cannot allow him to get the ball back to his left hand no matter where he is on the court, or else it’s going to be a long day. He has elite shot creation prowess, with the majority, if not all, of his scoring coming off the dribble. Gibson was automatic from the left side of the floor. With a great change of pace, he varies his dribble speed, sometimes explosive, other times deliberate, while looking to get to his spots. His unpredictability keeps defenders off balance, which was shown on possessions where he got the ball, put it between his legs going right, before spinning off his defender for a layup finish.
Jaylon Dean-Vines never ceases to amaze me and awe the crowd, a true playmaker who puts on a show with every performance. Somehow, he manages to average at least one chasedown block off the glass along with a posterizing slam dunk each game. Jaylon’s a high level player who has become a walking hgihlight reel.
Rodney Nelson Rodney Nelson 5'6" | PG Temple | 2026 TX had a standout game, starting with back-to-back takeaways in the first minute of play. He changed the game defensively as a ball hawk, Nelson played with a knack for tracking crosscourt and long passes. His quick reflexes and anticipation made him a fastbreak starter in the passing lanes, turning defensive stops into offensive opportunities.
