The South Dakota 2026 rankings were updated on Monday. Let's look at 12 prospects that moved up in the rankings.

#25 [player_tooltip player_id='2344553' first='Caleb' last='Richmond'] I 6'0" PG I Wolsey-Wessington

Caleb might be somewhat of an unknown, but he can play. He was the starting point guard for 17-5 Wolsey-Wessington. He averaged 11 ppg., 4.2 apg., 4.0 rpg., and 2.3 spg. Elite agility on the court, always moving without the ball. Unselfish guard that doesn't over-dribble and is looking for teammates.

#26 [player_tooltip player_id='1959421' first='Caleb' last='Brink'] I 6'2" SG I Sioux Falls Jefferson I [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']

Brink has really impressed this offseason for [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']. One of the best overall athletes in the class, with elite movement traits. A defensive weapon that can create a lot of havoc on that end. Good length at 6'2".

#30 [player_tooltip player_id='1641207' first='Cole' last='Kooiker'] I 5'10 PG I Harrisburg I [program_tooltip program_id='2145852' first='SD' last='Identity']

Cole is a smaller guard but he's also one of the best three-point shooters in the class. Has been shooting it at a very high clip for [program_tooltip program_id='2145852' first='SD' last='Identity'] this offseason. Elite quickness with the ball.

#35 [player_tooltip player_id='1548633' first='Keegen' last='Tracy'] I 5'10 PG I Groton Area I [program_tooltip program_id='2337876' first='James' last='Valley Thunder']

Along with [player_tooltip player_id='1548634' first='Ryder' last='Johnson'], I believe Tracy has a breakout year for Groton Area as well. Has been handling point guard duties for [program_tooltip program_id='2337876' first='James' last='Valley Thunder'] and has shown elite quickness and ability to play the position. Groton Area surprises a lot of people this year, and Tracy is a big reason why.

#51 [player_tooltip player_id='2350745' first='Jones' last='Huntimer'] I 6'2" SG I Brookings

I saw Huntimer online for Brookings' JV team and he should be a varsity contributor in his Junior season for them. Has solid size at 6'3" as a two-guard. A scorer's mentality that loves to attack and get to the hoop.

#53 [player_tooltip player_id='1641570' first='Turner' last='Bergan'] I 6'3" Wing I Aberdeen Central I [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']

Bergan can now be translated to a wing with his ability to shoot the three and he doesn't have the size to translate to an interior prospect. I believe Aberdeen Central is counting on him to take another step forward and become a key varsity contributor.

#57 [player_tooltip player_id='2338066' first='Tristen' last='Bunde'] I 6'2" SG I Tri-Valley I [program_tooltip program_id='2145852' first='SD' last='Identity']

Recently saw Bunde at the Dakota State Team Camp and a few times with [program_tooltip program_id='2145852' first='SD' last='Identity']. He's a long and thin guard that moves well and fluid. Goes off the dribble effectively, trying to score at the rim.

#60 [player_tooltip player_id='2344085' first='Bennett' last='Kortan'] I 6'0" PG I Spearfish

Kortan was the starting point guard for Spearfish and had a solid year for them, with averages of 7.7 ppg, 2.1 apg., 3.8 rpg., and 2.7 spg. Doesn't have any elite traits but is a capable ball-handler and shooter.

#61 [player_tooltip player_id='1911443' first='Hayden' last='Schilling'] I 6'0" PG I Sioux Falls Washington I [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']

Schilling received varsity playing time this past season for Washington and I think he also translates to the point guard position. A tough guard with a solid enough handle and command to translate to the point.

#72 [player_tooltip player_id='2080295' first='Luke' last='LeBrun'] | 6'4” PF | Mitchell | [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']

Luke doesn't have great positional size as a 6'4" Big, but he plays extremely hard and tough in the paint. The lefty goes after contact and is a good finisher at the hoop and a little extended.

#75 [player_tooltip player_id='1911439' first='Connor' last='Relf'] I 5'10 G I Sioux Falls Roosevelt I [program_tooltip program_id='2145852' first='SD' last='Identity']

Relf goes up in the rankings because of his shooting ability and shot-making prowess. Could actually be a little higher up, so we'll monitor how things turn out for him in the high school season.

#79 [player_tooltip player_id='2338059' first='Kamren' last='Davis'] I 6'2" SG I Spearfish

A varsity starter for Spearfish as their two-guard, Davis has good length, athleticism, and movement. A good positional defender and a capable catch-and-shoot three-point shooter. Averaged 7.3 ppg. for Spearfish as the team's fourth leading scorer.
