The spotlight from back-to-back championships and the eyes that have been on teammate DeWayne Brown have really helped out the man in the middle. He has been playing exceptionally well on the EYBL circuit and is showing his scoring prowess on the inside and his ability to dominate on the boards. With his brother taking his talents to the next level, the Spartans are now in the hands of the younger Davis, and with a trip to the final four last year, the Spartans community is looking for another opportunity at the BJCC. Trey is known for his lethal shooting, but as his brother did, Trey will have to continue to expand his game to where he is more than comfortable creating off the bounce. He is an exciting scoring threat that can fill up the stat sheet and is a very confident offensive weapon. He has an extremely quick first step, a burst of speed when he gets into the open court, and flashes his athleticism with the rock in his hands. His scoring ability will be needed as the Rebels lost a good portion of their scoring production. Emory will undoubtedly make up some of the loss, and he could emerge as a go-to scoring option as he can create his own shot as well as score from deep, which fits into the Rebels' system.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
