Prep Hoops will provide various editions of true stock risers from the 2025-2028 classes. Let’s get into a list of “Next Up” risers.
Malachi Martis Malachi Martis 6'4" | SF Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian | 2025 State FL | W | 2026 | Windermere Prep | @malmartis10
One of the top under the radar kids in the area is starting to get the attention of college programs. The 6-6 rising senior earned a recent offer from Southeastern University. Solid season last year but should be fully healthy and ready to dominate for his senior season. Get acquainted with this kid now, he has all the tools to develop.
Augustine Ayelyine Augustine Ayelyine 6'9" | PF University Christian | 2026 State FL | PF | 2025 | University Christian | @big_aug13
Talk about a kid that can make a real impact at the next level. Not sure how this kid doesn’t have more attention with a 6-9 frame, explosive athleticism, and a high upside to keep developing. He’s now on my radar but college coaches need to get eyes on Ayelyine before it’s too late.
Christopher Stoddart | F | 2026 | J.W Mitchell | @CST0ddart10
One of the true risers on the off-season circuit has been the 6-5 junior riser Christopher Stoddart. He’s been competing well while showing off great upside in the 2026 class. Got my eyes on him recently at our PH Showcase where he finished the tournament as a top performer. College coaches need to get eyes on Stoddart during the summer period.

Tims is a riser in the 2025 class, bringing the heat on both ends with a relentless mentality. Standing at 6’1″ and boasting solid athleticism, he’s a guard you don’t want to mess with. Tims averaged 11.1 points, 2 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals per game last season. His scoring might not top the charts, but his #106 state ranking for points per 32 minutes at 14.1 shows he’s efficient when it counts. Playing in all 27 games this season, Tyshaun’s durability and consistency are notable. If you’re looking for a guard who can do it all and bring the energy every game,

This kid deserves recognition for the consistent work he’s put in at the prep level. No matter the size, Coy gets it done with the rock in his hands with a versatile scoring bag. He understands how to handle the rock and can be a reliable scoring threat.
LJ Katz Jr | PG | 2025 | IMG Gold | @LJKatz4
Known as a deadly three-point shooter, Katz made an impressive 77 three-pointers this past season. The rising senior is a high IQ player who gets it done off the court as well, balancing academics with his athletic commitments. His combination of academic prowess and basketball skill makes him an interesting prospect for college coaches to look at. Keep an eye on Katz, as his recruitment process continues to heat up.
