<p>There was good number of good small school programs that were represented at the Midwest Showcase in Olathe, KS. Here is a look at some of those small schools from Missouri that we watched during the weekend at the Midwest Showcase.</p>

<p>Montgomery County: The Wildcats were a Class 3 Final Four participant last season and they look to have the weapons to make a return trip in 2025 with a strong senior class. The inside-outside combination of 6'8" [player_tooltip player_id='1315419' first='Clayton' last='Parker'] and 6'2" guard [player_tooltip player_id='1424415' first='Andrew' last='Moore'] both had big weekends as both averaged North of 20 points a game during the event. [player_tooltip player_id='2218077' first='Tyler' last='Erwin'] is a 6'3 2025 forward who excels inside with his strength and athleticism. MoCo is still without standout point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1557470' first='Isaiah' last='Thomas'], who suffered a late-season injury, but he is expected to be back for the season, which will give the Wildcats another experienced weapon.</p>

<p>Thayer: The Bobcats are coming off back to back trips to the Final Four of the Class 3 state tournament. They will be leaning on the combo of 6'6' 2025 forward Devin Harrington and 5'9" 2025 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1887579' first='Easton' last='Pitts']. Harrington is an excellent inside player and one of the most explosive athletes in the SWMO area. He can also rebound with the best of them. Pitts is a fearless point guard who can score and run the offense. Brandon Prince is a 6'3" 2025 small forward who was very solid throughout the weekend.</p>

<p>Harrisburg: The Bulldogs have an excellent Class 2 squad that is coming off a district championship. They return of the state's top Class 2 players in 6'5" 2025 wing [player_tooltip player_id='1881949' first='Trace' last='Combs'], who is a three-level scorer who can also facilitate offense. He was excellent in the game that we watched him against Lawson. Bryce Ott is a 5'7" 2025 point guard who has good toughness and a nice shot from 3-point range. Caleb Sager is a 6'0" 2025 guard who was really effective at pushing the pace and attacking the basket.</p>

<p>Principia: The Panthers had a productive weekend despite being without their sophomore duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2334910' first='Sekou' last='Cisse'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2334905' first='Gassim' last='Toure'], who were playing with their national team. They got excellent play from 6'1" 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2352805' first='Quentin' last='Coleman'], who continues to be one of the top stock risers in the class with his three-level scoring. Point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2354962' first='Jaedyn' last='Jones'] has good quickness and a nice perimeter shot while 6'3" 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2348237' first='Wyatt' last='Slay'] performed well as an all-purposed player at both ends. Ronald Henry is a 6'6" 2026 forward who rebounded the ball well while 6'2 2026 guard Nehemiah Swanson provided instant offense off the bench.</p>

<p>St Michael the Archangel: The Guardians have a solid unit that looked impressive in a victory over Marshfield. They have an excellent point guard is 5'11" 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1850447' first='Josh' last='Wheeler'] who was scoring at all three levels while hitting shots from well beyond the 3-point line. [player_tooltip player_id='1850448' first='Phillip' last='Howard'] is a 6'3" 2026 guard is a resourceful scorer who seeks contact in the lane. [player_tooltip player_id='2576016' first='Nick' last='DeVoss'] is a 6'5" 2025 forward who provided some solid inside production.</p>

<p>MICDS: The Rams field a team of young veterans that are underclassmen, but many have been seeing regular varsity action since they were freshmen. Guard [player_tooltip player_id='1790003' first='Brandon' last='Clemens'] is a 6'2" 2026 offensive weapon who can score in a variety of ways. [player_tooltip player_id='1666704' first='Keshon' last='Mims'] is a 6'4" 2026 guard with excellent athleticism and the ability to guard multiple positions. Tyler Ray is a 6'3" 2027 guard who is a capable ball handler and facilitator. [player_tooltip player_id='2748388' first='Karim' last='Fall'] is an experienced 2025 guard who excels defensively with his length and athleticism.</p>

Their backcourt is rock solid with smooth 6'1" 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2117605' first='Cannon' last='Thornhill'], 5'10" 2025 Cameron Whitener and 6'1" 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2414698' first='Landon' last='Boatwright']. Jayden Carpenter is a solid 6'2" 2025 post player who knows how to operate around the basket with his physical strength and footwork.</p>

<p>Lawson: The Cardinals were district champions last season and they return their top two players in 6'5" 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2353849' first='Brogan' last='Crawford'] and 6'1" 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2576005' first='Isaac' last='Willoughby']. Crawford is a versatile forward who can handle the ball, hit 3-pointers and also score in the low post. Willoughby is physically strong with the ability to score around the basket with good post moves and effective drives.</p>
