Tyrese is getting more athletic and comfortable in tight spaces. Watching him back in the winter...he was a little stiff and offensively limited. Hawks Elite's head coach raves about him and sees a gigantic jump on the horizon for Tyrese. Western Illinois University (D1) did offer.
This particular film reminds somewhat of Braxton Key, formerly known as Braxton Blackwell. Braxton was definitely more guard than forward back then, but Stovall truly loves to pass. That was kind of the basketball brain of Braxton too. Stovall's release point on some of his slashes and layups is troubling. Though he gets them off in high school, many of those will get swatted at the college level. In the open floor the actual agility of Tyrese becomes clear, and the potential emerges.

Petway is a player that excites. He was ranked around #140 in the winter but played his way into the Top 125 with LEAD Academy. This film showcases his work with Tennessee Panthers .
Petway's quick first-step continues to be the separating factor between him and most high school guards. He can get around most players with the dribble because he is so quick. AJ needs to develop his jumper and shows a nice catch-and-shoot three-pointer in this highlight package. The smooth ball screen action he runs is encouraging. Petway is a clever passer and looks like he keeps the defense guessing between pass/shot until the last second.
Zion Oliver / Tennessee Impact 17u
Love the energy and fire! This is my first-time watching Zion play. Oliver loves contact apparently and gets after it in traffic. Oliver is the kind of guy that inspires increased enthusiasm from his teammates. He is definitely a forward, at 6-foot-4. That could inhibit his recruiting somewhat.

Waymon displayed a couple of difficult pull-up jumpers in this montage. West played early in his high school career, starting as a sophomore. West appears to have added some needed muscle. He is not as slender. Still he can hit jumpers. Shooting touch remains his greatest skill. Continuing to develop his explosion is key.
