Last weekend, the annual Doug's Dozen was a spot for many prospects to showcase their strengths and skills on the court as they competed to the best of their ability. CE King High School was host to many good players and teams alike. We already examined some individual players who stood out, but go ahead and check out these duos that were big time on the hardwood.

The class of 2025 backcourt duo for Cinco Ranch of Noah Pearce and [player_tooltip player_id='2349811' first='Prince' last='Jones-Bynum'] was a big help in their Saturday win over Iowa Colony. Pearce knows how to light it up behind the arc and find open spots on offense to knock down shots, while Prince is a big time playmaker who makes things happen with the rock in his hands. Jones-Bynum showed great decision making and speed in the transition game, always knowing where his teammates are on the court and threading the needle. I was really impressed with Noah's ability to drive to the basket this game, drawing contact often and finishing at the foul stripe. Jones-Bynum is a 6'1 class of 2025 point guard while Pearce is a 6'3 class of 2025 shooting guard.

The duo of Malone and Williams was big time in HABC 15u's blowout win over Hardwork. Aiden hit several long range shots from beyond the arc and showed shiftiness and tight handles playing the point guard slot for HABC. He is able to change the tempo of the game at will and does not turn the ball over. [player_tooltip player_id='2382175' first='Xavier' last=''] is dynamic when he attacks the rim off the dribble and can either finish over the defender or create space for an off the dribble midrange. He knows how valuable time is on offensive possessions and will not hesitate to make the open pass. Malone is a 5'5 class of 2028 point guard while Williams is a 6'1 class of 2027 shooting guard.

Roy and Jones were a high flying dynamic duo for Tx Takeover in their close win over Nemesis Crushers on Sunday morning. Roy displays athletic shot making ability, hitting from all three levels and scoring the ball at an efficient rate. When he drove to the basket, it was like a freight train coming at you full speed. The part of Jones game that impressed me the most was his willingness to put his body on the line for rebounds on both ends and his aggressiveness in the paint. When he came down with the basketball, he was like a floor general and always making things happen. KJ Roy is a 6'2 class of 2025 shooting guard while Jones is a 6'4 class of 2025 small forward.
