Campbell Lewis
Campbell Lewis is about as good as it gets when it comes to attacking the rim. He is great at creating contact and finishing through it, not losing his balance and finishing towards the basket. He can attack and finish with either hand and on either side of the rim. When he gets the ball downhill going right he’s almost unstoppable. Lewis is also good at getting to the paint and kicking out when the defense collapses. Defensively he is great at using his hands and getting his hands on the ball. Always takes the challenge on defense and can guard 1-4.
Antwan McCray is a high IQ point guard. Really lets the game come to him offensively. In pick and roll he can get to his spots at ease where he is efficient at his midrange shot or can pass the ball to open shooters to get them going. A great shooter from range off the dribble and off ball. When one shot goes down he can heat up quick and start to look for his shot more. If his defender goes under the screen he makes them pay with pulling up from 3. I was super impressed with McCrays overall game this past week.
Malik McGuire Malik McGuire 6'7" | SF Maumelle | 2025 State AR is a super athletic and physical big. He is almost impossible to stop when he gets the ball in transition or with lots of space in half court. He has a big frame and uses it to his advantage playing very physical and thriving through contact. The big is smooth around the rim but tends to be right hand dominant. Though, with the energy he plays with, even if you know he wants to go right it’s hard to stop him. Whoever is guarding McGuire will have some bumps and bruises after defending him all game.
This big athletic guard is taking huge steps leading up to his senior season. He has a super high motor and plays with a relentless mindset. Gray can play above the rim attacking in transition, but also has a smooth jump shot that keeps the defense honest. Defensively he plays very aggressively but is able to stay in front with his length and quickness. His confidence and quickness on his 3pt allows him to shoot over closing defenders.
Highlights
KD Hicks is an all around great point guard. He can do whatever he is asked to do. As a facilitator he can beat his defender and kick out to whoever try’s to help. Scoring the ball he attacks through contact like he is a forward, being able to finish through anyone. His jump shot is smooth and deadly too. He can knock down 3s or pull up for midrange when he gets to his spots. He is a fun player to watch and has an exvciti
