6’5 Forward, Team California 17; Salesian College Prep
He’s the strong athletic type getting a real opportunity to showcase his overall abilities this Spring. He’s handling and passing in transition. He’s attacking from around the perimeters using his dribble, strength, and a solid body to finish often around the rim. He’s playing 17u, battling for rebounds and defending players his size.

6’3 Guard, Esface College Prep 17u; Serra
He’s having a good Spring playing 17u. He’s a rising prospect in the 2026 class. He comes up, and off of screens squared up looking to knock down 3’s from around the perimeter. He’s using a dribble or two to get to his spots for mid-range jumpers, and shots in the paint. He’s using his speed and length to get buckets at the rim in transition. He’s a quality defender.

He’s a good all around prospect at the 16u level. At 6’3 he can score in the paint taking it up strong off two feet, and other ways. He battles for rebounds on both ends. He has a good perimeter jump shot, using screens to free himself up for 3’s and mid-range jumpers. He’s good attacking the baseline.

6’0 Guard, Lakeshow 16 Gibson, Berkeley
He goes all out on defense, hounding ball handlers, staying close to shooters with a hand up, forcing turnovers; He gets steals. He’s good in transition running the court, attacking, and finishing around the rim, maybe a dunk. He’s got the handles and toughness to attack, and finish from different angles. He has a paint jumper, good vision passing, a ball mover.

He’s an excellent ball handler and facilitator who’s willing to be a pass first point guard; Make no mistake Margate can knock down shots all over the court when he gets it going. He was missing early but kept the confidence, they started to fall from mid-range out past the 3pt line. He dropped perimeter 3’s, he goes full speed, stop on the dime, he creates space for layups.

6’0 PG, Evolve Performance Oakland; Berkeley
A tough physical point guard with quality handles, and the confidence to challenge defenders from keeping him out of the paint. He’s patient up top with good vision and passing around the perimeter; making the effort to get others involved, knowing he can use a few moves to get his own paint points. He’s a good rebounding guard, he can defend multiple positions.

6’6 Forward, Lakeshow 16 Gibson; Vanden
He’s an effective inside/out type of prospect at the 16u level. He has the body to handle the bumping and banging that goes on inside at this level, there’s some toughness in there. He made moves to generate paint points. Later we saw him dropping 3’s from the corners, handling, and passing along the perimeter. We’ll keep an eye on him.

5’11 PG, Bay City Warriors 17 3SGB North; University
Only a Sophomore Lau playing up 17u, put in an excellent performance from the point guard position. He’s a smart guard with smooth ball handling skills, he can control the pace. He sees the court full and half, he handles ball pressure, and double teams, he takes care of the ball. He’ll penetrate pass, use good shot selection knocking down mid-range and 3ptrs to keep defenders honest.
