Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top stock risers from last weekend's Show-Me Showdown, which was held at the Chesterfield Sports Complex. These youngsters really stepped up their level of play during the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2544891' first='Jack' last='Cubbage'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 17U EYCL): A 6'9" 2025 forward from Eureka who was one of the breakout performers of the weekend. He was an offensive weapon throughout the event with his perimeter shooting. He played the "Stretch 4" role to perfection with his 3-point shooting. His shooting stroke was pure and he played with a lot of confidence. He was also pretty good in the low post as well as his finesse game was very effective. He he displayed a quick turn and face move with the reverse pivot, in which he hit the 10-12 footer in the mid post area. He was also crashing the boards and running the court with great energy. He is also capable of putting the ball on the floor and making a play.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2381379' first='Will' last='Wolf'] (Mavericks Elite 16U): The 5'10" 2026 guard from Orchard Farm was one of the most entertaining players that I watched during the weekend. He is usually one of the smallest players on the court, but he is an electric scorer who can get buckets from all three levels. He was attacking the basket with fearless drives and scoring in traffic with his strength and determination. He was creating off the dribble and knocking down shots from 3-point range, whether they were contested or not. He led the Mavericks to a near-upset of a good [program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] EYCL, he scored a game-high 31 points and he had fans on the edge of their seats with his explosive bucket

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2224873' first='Ty' last='Kuehl'] (Hardwood Elite 17U): A 6'5" 2025 wing player from Parkway West who is a tremendous perimeter shooter with good athleticism and a high basketball IQ. He is a solid ball handler who makes good decisions, but he also moves well without the ball. He has a game that flows within the offense because of his movement and the ball doesn't stick in his hands. He is also a solid rebounder with his size and athletic ability. He has the versatility to play multiple positions on the floor.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='2528034' first='Jahi' last='Martin'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 15U EYCL): A 6'0" point guard from Francis Howell who has a bright future with the Vikings program that has talented backcourt players. I was impressed with his physical strength and ability to get to his spots without being sped up. He was able to get downhill and score at the rim with either hand. He was also knocking down 3-pointers off the catch. He will also sit down and play tenacious defense on his team's full court press.

*******

[player_tooltip player_id='2427991' first='David' last='Hardesty'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075283' first='Arsenal' last='Hoops'] 17U Black): A 6'3" 2025 guard from Lindbergh who was impressive with his offensive skills, but also his ability to be a connector. He is very unselfish player who was making pinpoint passes from any spot on the court to an open teammate. He was also one of the best players I saw at making the hockey assists. He was also a good 3-point shooter who also took advantage when he saw an open driving lane to attack.

*******

THREE MORE STOCK RISERS

A trio of players who we featured in Saturday's Standouts are also big stock risers from this weekend's action. You can see those write-ups about them in that "Saturday's Standouts" section.

[player_tooltip player_id='1881003' first='Preston' last='Brewer'] 6'6" (Tri State Select 17U/Canton)

[player_tooltip player_id='2427989' first='Jack' last='Edgerton'] 6'3" ([program_tooltip program_id='2075283' first='Arsenal' last='Hoops'] Black 17U/Ladue)

[player_tooltip player_id='2218070' first='Luke' last='Heskett'] 6'8" (Mavericks Elite 17U/Heritage Christian Classical)
