Though the high school basketball season concludes, there are plenty of notable underclassmen prospects who deserve recognition for their production. Prep Hoops will provide various editions of true stock risers from the 2025-2028 classes. Let's get into a list of “Next Up” risers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633070' first='Gabriel' last='Parks'] | G | Class of 2026 | Chiles | @GabrielParks26

One of the more reliable young shooters in the state deserves the recognition as he continues to improve his overall game over the off-season with Team [program_tooltip program_id='2076419' first='Judah' last='Nation'] . The 6-1 combo guard averaged over double digits last season (12.7) as he can score off the dribble, spot up, and get to the rim.

Trevor Miller | PG | 2027 | @TMiller2027

Miller is a rising 2027 guard who has shown off great potential to be a knock down shooter at the Prep Level. He's a 5-11 point guard product who has had some success in the AAU period. Really impressed with the natural shooting stroke and effort to make an impact on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2415600' first='Felix' last='Buroz'] | G | 2026 | West Centennial | @Felixburoz

Buroz has been a notable standout in the AAU period while competing with 3StripesGold. This kid can get it done in multiple aspects as he can score consistently but also provide solid assist and rebound numbers. It's the steals that pops out for me as he recorded 16 steals in a four-game stretch. Look out for the 2026 guard prospect to continue building confidence.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242995' first='King' last='McMillian'] | CG | 2028 | @Kingetscash3

We may have another 2028 rising star as McMillian has popped on the AAU scene while competing with Hilliard Flashes Basketball. He's already equipped with a 6-3 frame that he uses to get to the rim for flashy finishes. Don't sleep on his effort on both ends as he can also impact the defensive side with steals and sneaky blocks. McMillan is a combo guard to get eyes on as we transition to the summer period.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297073' first='Tico' last='Smith'] | CG | 2028 | @datboitico

Smith is another rising 2028 prospect on the list that you will soon have on your radar. Smith is fearless on the basketball court as he's still growing into his frame but can light it up in the scoring column. He's a knockdown shooter from behind the arc and isn't afraid to get crafty with finishes at the rim. Excited to see how he progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id='2443062' first='Patterson' last='Paul'] | CG | 2026 | Archbishop McCarthy | @patters0nn

Paul is a 6-0 2026 riser in the South Florida area who has had some notable performance during the offseason AAU period. He has nice speed on the court with a nimble build that he uses to get creative near the lane and finish at the rim with flashy layups. He also creates space to find open teammates. He's still growing into his frame with plenty of time to work on his overall game.

Xavier Martin | G | 2026 | @XavierMartin_4

We have to give recognition to prospects who are making noise during the offseason period and Martin adds to the list of under the radar 2026 prospects. He's a 6-0 guard product that can be dangerous in the 1v1 play style where he can show off his range and solid dribbling package. Keep an eye on this kid into the summer period.
