In this article, we are going to highlight several prospects that had impressive performances over the weekend. Here are several prospects to watch out for on the trail.
Lane Turner Lane Turner 6'5" | CG Vilonia | 2025 State #287 Nation AR -Shooting Guard-Vilonia-6’5” 2025
The Vilonia guard has had no trouble opening eyes over the past few months. He shoots the basketball with plenty of accuracy and consistency. Turner has impressive range. He is the type of shooter that can rack up the points in bunches. Turner has no problem putting in the effort on both ends of the floor. Turner had a strong outing in Ohio over the weekend and he is off to a strong start on the club circuit. I look for Turner to have a strong 2024 in both club and high school play.
Lyndell Buckingham Lyndell Buckingham 6'1" | CG Marion | 2025 State AR -Combo Guard-Marion-6’2” 2025
Lyndell Buckingham Lyndell Buckingham 6'1" | CG Marion | 2025 State AR is a player that has a high motor. He has tremendous energy on both ends of the floor. Buckingham is lighting up opposing defenses on the offensive end of the floor. He had a strong weekend last weekend on the club circuit. Buckingham struck for 25 points, 4 assists, and 10 rebounds in action over the weekend. He is a player that shoots the ball well from all areas of the floor. Meanwhile, he will not hurt you on the defensive end of the floor. Buckingham is a player to watch out for over the next few months.
Antonio Whitney Jr. Antonio Whitney Jr. 6'2" | CG Nettleton | 2026 State AR -Combo Guard-Nettleton-6’2” 2026
Antonio Whitney Jr. Antonio Whitney Jr. 6'2" | CG Nettleton | 2026 State AR is not having any trouble opening eyes on the club circuit. He does an excellent job of running the floor and moving without the basketball. Whitney Jr. can shoot the jump shot with impressive accuracy and consistency. He is an unselfish player with the ball and has no problem getting his teammates involved on the offensive end of the floor. Whitney Jr. has no trouble grabbing boards and stays active on the defensive end of the floor. He is off to a great start in club play. Whitney Jr. is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.
Aidan Chronister-Shooting Guard-Rogers-6’7” 2026
Aidan Chronister can light things up on the offensive end of the floor quickly. Chronister can heat up quickly from all areas of the floor. He has a smooth jumper and can get into the lane with no problems at all. Chronister does a great job of moving without the basketball. He stays active on both ends of the floor. Chronister battles for boards and works effectively grabbing boards on both ends of the floor. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.
