After watching more of Stomping Grounds online, Terry was deserving of first team all-tournament. He’s one of the most rare 14U prospects I’ve seen in the region. MB Magic 14U is a talented team from Canada that only had one loss and that was against the championship team. Terry has top-tier athleticism, where he can dunk in transition easily and with power. Plays fast with the ball in his possessions at 6’4”. Averaged 15.3 ppg.
Schelske is a big-bodied true post prospect. He runs and moves well with a big and strong build. He’s a load to handle and try and keep off the offensive boards. A rebounding machine on both ends. A solid interior finisher on the offensive side, where he attacks contact. He was getting to the foul line often.
Kutey was the starting point guard, facilitator, scorer, and big shot-maker for championship team Team Warwick 14U – Warwick. He is smooth and controlled in his handle with a middle-game and three-point shot making. A smooth touch and float-game with an accurate three all tournament long. Hit the game-winning three in the championship game.
Highlights
Conner is a long left-handed wing that plays fast and can really defend. Runs very well for a 6’2” wing. A slasher from the wing that attacks the hoop hard and quickly. Defensively, he will chase and deny his matchup, as well as using his length to defend on the perimeter. Thrives in transition and playing fast.
The talented guard averaged 17.5 ppg. with a 26-point performance. He played as an athletic scoring point guard for Foundation Athletics out of Wisconsin. A fluid and bouncy athlete with a complete offensive skill set that gives him confidence. He could skillfully will his way to the hoop off the drive and had a pull-up and catch-and-shoot jumper that was on the money. Skilled passer that could throw difficult and long passes on target.
Highlights
Nolan averaged a cool 19.0 ppg. for MN lightning Gibson. A talented scorer and offensive player. Gets to the rack easily and is a high-level and efficient finisher when he gets there. A knockdown shooter as well. A smart and skilled offensive prospect that knows when and how to attack the defense. A great passer that finds teammates well and often for buckets.
