Jamel Hawkins (Big Game Elite): A 6’4″ small forward from Hazelwood Central who was very impressive in the game I watched against a very athletic Wildcats team from Columbia. He has good athleticism and a good work rate as he was getting inside buckets and offensive rebounds and putbacks. He can also handle the ball and attack from the perimeter effectively.
********
Devin Williams (Big Game Elite): A 6’2″ small forward from Pattonville who has impressive athletic ability, which he displayed with some rebounds in which he grabbed at the peak of his jump. He works the baseline well and he can score around the basket.
********
Dakota Pitts (JC Elite): A 6’2″ guard from Capital City who has some athleticism and talent. He could handle the ball and score on the drive and he also knocked down an open 3-pointer. He was also very active on the defensive end. He has the potential to be a good two-way player at the high school level.
******
Micah Griffo (Big Game Elite): A smooth shooting guard from O’Fallon (IL) who displayed a nice stroke from long distance. In the game I watched, he hit three triples in the first half. He also displayed some good defensive instincts as he rotated over get steals from the weak side.
*******
David Barnes (Big Game Elite): A 6’4″ forward from Mt. Vernon High in Southern Illinois who has a strong work ethic around the basket. He has solid athleticism and he is a good worker inside. He had some strong second and third effort plays on the offensive boards.
