[program_tooltip program_id='2075435' first='Dallas' last='Showtyme'] 2026 Shows Out against [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite']

From the opening minutes of the game, [program_tooltip program_id='2075435' first='Dallas' last='Showtyme'] was in command. It was a matter of minutes before their lead was double-digits, and they did not look back. They constantly forced turnovers and kept [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite'] at bay in the halfcourt. Showtyme guards Jacque Overton and Bryson Turner set the tone with their frenetic perimeter defense, which directly resulted in easy buckets on the offensive end.

Ultimately, Showtyme's length, athleticism, and offensive efficiency were too much for [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite']. Both Overton and Turner finished with double-digit scoring efforts to open up the day with a dominant 62-29 win.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075435' first='Dallas' last='Showtyme'] 2026 Black Puts on a Defensive Masterclass

Arguably, the most impressive defensive showing on the morning slate of games belongs to [program_tooltip program_id='2075435' first='Dallas' last='Showtyme'] 2026, which held Courtside United 16U Jay to a mere 24 points. Compared to the other games on the court, this was a defensive-minded game; neither team broke 50 points. That said, Showtyme guards Devin Rodgers and Makhi King just did enough offensively.

Courtside United was stuck at 19 points for the better part of the second half before getting a few more late-game buckets. Rodgers and King had a lot to do with that. There perimeter defense and the great instincts of Rodgers in the passing lanes won them the game.

Team Oklahoma Edges Live 2 Hoop in a Fun Back-and-forth Contest

One of the most entertaining and closely contested games on the morning schedule was against Team Oklahoma and Live 2 Hoop TX Tigers. Simply put, it was a game of runs by both teams, with Team Oklahoma's size and interior scoring giving them the edge. Just when one team seemed to have firm control of the game, the other team came right back.

Team Oklahoma was led in scoring by guard Parker Mitchell, who finished with a team-high 16 points. Additionally, guard Owen Mccalip provided some much-needed playmaking on both ends. On the other end, guards [player_tooltip player_id='2410171' first='Jordan' last='Hernandez'] and Billy Affaneh from Live 2 Hoop were stellar, providing loads of perimeter scoring.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite'] Holds Off Pro Skills San Antonio

On court 4 in the back of Lake Dallas High, [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite']'s open-court speed, athleticism, length, and finishing were on display against Pro Skills San Antonio. Eight minutes into the first half, [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite'] initially pulled away with a double-digit lead by forcing Pro Skills into turnovers. Additionally, Pro Skills could not keep [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite'] off the line; the foul and free trips to the charity stripe changed the game.

That said, Pro Skills made a surge in the second half, cutting the lead to 11 at one point before finally being put away in the last six minutes. [player_tooltip player_id='2395096' first='Cristian' last='Lara'] from Pro Skills was responsible for keeping his team in the game up to that point but left some points off the board with some late misses from the free throw line. For [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite'], guards Amare Polk and Ta'Darius Thomas, along with wing Brian Moorehead, were too long, dynamic, and clinical with their finishing for Pro Skills to truly threaten a comeback. All three [program_tooltip program_id='2075308' first='Beast' last='Elite'] players finished with 10 or more points.
